I think you're gonna really like the game if you get further into it - there are TONS of seeds and ooblet types to unlock, and you haven't even seen the whole town! Plus, as you advance in the game there's even other areas to unlock via the hot air balloon :) The best way to earn money at the start of the game is by showing your new oobs to Petra (scientist at the top right edge of town). Spending money on seeds is cool, but you might not wanna spend on the better watering can, since if you keep doing missions and leveling up, you'll be able to unlock various types of sprinklers pretty soon, as well as the ability to set up an oob-cop, where your oobs can work and farm for you! As far as the bean-juice goes, there's a whole friendship system in place - so if you talk to the girl from the coffee shop every day, eventually she'll start gifting you some bean-juice. Another way is to unlock the recipe and make it yourself. So yeah, there's an entire cooking system, and you use your crops for missions, food and gifts! Also you haven't gone into the furniture store, but that's a whole thing too where you can make your house/farm better over-time :D (Sorry for the long reply lol but hopefully this helps if you decide to play again :))
