As a joy main there’s a simple tip that will make you do a lot more damage. Everytime you dash you should auto attack if possible in between dashes to do a lot more damage.
Problem with joy is her lack of damage to begin with the changes were okay but she really needs damage. Joy doesn’t have enough damage to justify the high cooldowns, and like wise doesn’t have low enough cooldowns to justify the low damage she does. Additionally her dash has a registration issue if you spam it as fast as you can if you’re trying for quick dmg

She’s mainly a finisher not a initiator. With her dashes being needed though she lost a lot of viability, but if you wait for cooldowns she is just as effective.

Secondly her damage doesn’t allow her to do may significant damage to a team what so ever I’ve played joy countless times with 600+ magic power and don’t even tickle an enemy below 25% hp. Her skills are so low scaling that they aren’t viable to deal any damage even if you’re trying to finish. Yes you get more damage out by timing the beats but some case you just can’t time them and even then the timing is like 3s to which you have to undergo not being hit, CCd or killed in that time frame before you can cast on top of gaining a merely 200 Hp shield! You know how little 200 is??????? ITS even more minute when you’re in mid and late game. She has no survivability, no damage and awkward cooldowns that don’t fit a fast spam style or a slow paced style. Even worse even if you try to just finish enemeis you’ll actually get punished by the system for passive play

As a dyrroth main, i use retro/aegis on joy. If i feel like soloing lanes, then ill pick the jungle build from a pro player, if i wanna go for teamfights ill go for aegis👍
I hope on the next update, Joy get buffed for Joy's damage and durability ㅠㅠㅠㅠ because, it's fxxxin sad (frustrating) when the enemies are Benedetta, Lancelot, Argus, Balmond, Arlott, etc. with the poor teammate ㅋㅋㅋ ㅠㅠ (hard time for Joy) ㅎㅎ ...phew
