Bobby Fischer wins with the Fischer-Sozin Attack in 17 moves

- Bobby Fischer produced a chess miniature against Peter Dely in 1967. In reply to black's Sicilian Classical variation, Fischer employed the Fischer-Sozin Attack. This game's key element is time. Black wastes it, and Fischer quickly pounces, executing the main idea of the Fischer-Sozin Attack and forcing black's resignation after only 17 moves.

How anyone sees all the possibilities and finds the best move is amazing.
An expert level of understanding, immense practice, and a strategic mind.
I said it once and I'll say it again; this is by far the best chess channel on You Tube.
Unlike all the others this one isn't based on selling us memberships anywhere or advertising their GM's or the players they have and so on.
Quick introduction, not 30 seconds or a minute of bs. Just goes straight to business, this is just pure chess. I love it that you always go through the most important variations at just the right moment in the game plus you always explain why someone resigned by demonstrating the options they had. I would subscribe 10x over if I could. Thanks Mr. Jerry from Pennsylvania for all the work you do. Fantastic stuff.
I also find interesting Jim Chess and ASMR Chess.
Agadmator's channel is also very good
Peter at the Charlotte Chess Center is also very good, narrating the games of the North America Corporate Chess games
Yes this is indeed the best chess channel and I have said it before his voice is just perfect the way he talks and explains are just perfect so clear cut. I hope this channel never gets closed and hits couple of million subscribers as well.
I remember when I thought I was good at chess.
Then you woke up.
Hehe
Bruh 😭
On god

Khanh Nguyen Your name is the best chess name ever. You sir must practice to be a GM one day
Dilly dilly!
LOL comment of the day :-)

An ol` grandma favorite, God rest her soul
Sozin must have been a great player for knowing what would happen
It's actually to Peter Dely's credit that he fully understood and comprehended how screwed he was at the 17th turn. I would not have been able to see half of that.
This Fischer guy surely had talent. He could have become a world class player. :-)
I thought he did?
It’s almost like Lovuschka was joking
@@sampratt8584 Nooooo, why would I ever do such a horrible thing?
Lovuschka Ikr I’ve never heard of such a terrible thing before. Shame on you
Woah is that a joke I see flying over two unsuspecting heads?
Dude I have watched 3 of your videos.. I know literally nothing about chess and the way you explain it.. makes so much sense. This is very cool. Great vids.
You know nothing about chess but understand what Sicilian is?
@@Statalyzer no I assume it's a move.. opening maneuver of some kind. I gather that there are thousands of games played every year and there are only x amount of ways to start the match so the opening moves have names?
Sorry I wasn't being very clear. As a fellow mostly-novice the video was ok but it brushed past stuff like that without explanation, which left me feeling like he was talking a bit over my head.
@@Statalyzer yes I agree.
@@Statalyzer he use to explain stuff like that before but his vids used to be 20 mins long, i think its better now
Clear and concise explanations, watch and learn! Thank you
Anothevery instructive and amazing video, Jerry! You're contribution for the chess community is huge! THANKS A LOT
Another brilliant chess game! It's very clear that Bobby had control the moment he sat down at the board.
Very good strategic analysis as always.
Thanks - your postings above all others lead to deeper understanding of how the game can better be played.
Love these videos of classic/brilliant chess games - they help me so much.
I’ve seen quite a lot of such vids. I like how you don’t over-explain or come across as if you’re enamored by the sound of your own voice. Well done!
Jerry's voice is so soothing. I needed a calming influence right now during this coronavirus hysteria. Thanks Jerry, you're a chill dude.
Thanks for posting, and for excellent presentation!
It is amazing. To be able to think so many moves ahead, i still have so much to learn about this game.
Once again, Jerry, your analysis, content and pace are perfect for me. Much appreciated. Kudos!
Loving this shorter analisys format! Great work Jerry.
Thank you for this clear, classic, and detailed analysis.
Thank you Eric
Love your vids, Jerry! It's awesome being able to finally guess the winning player's moves and get them right! I feel like I've learned a lot from this channel and I hope to continue to!
A thing of beauty. The analysis of the possible moves subsequent to the surrender are very helpful. Thanks.
Killer move..👍🏼 and very well explained..thank you so much...
Thank you for the lucid easy to understand analysis of your games .... Good job
Thank you
Congratulations-there are many chess sites but yours is my favourite:soft voice and slow explanations.Keep it up!
Love the way you explaine. A big help to all of us intermediate players who want to look at examples on how to analize games.
Thank you for this great video!
Great presentation! Thank you! 🙏✌️
Love your channel man!! Genius -GRANDEUR
Good analysis. I really enjoyed this game and learned a lot.
Always love chess; love it even more after watching your videos. You’re a really good teacher.
Thank you
Very cheeky. Even better to learn from. Your stuff is great!
I miss watching your videos Jerry. You give good analysis of the positions in the game, as well as explanation of the theory involved.
Clearly explained great summary.
Best Chess channel.
No fudging .
He finishes.
And every variation.
Very clear presentation. Thanks.
Thanq for making such a good videos. Such an inspiring one.
Very neat and brief analysis!
God Bless!
these are great, thanks for posting them
I enjoyed your narrative, great game, thanx
the movement of the pieces on the board is smooth and wonderful
nice concise commentary. superb explanations of attack
Best chess GM re-play video I have ever seen. No intervention during the game, (just explaining the moves that the GM's made, not the channels distracting variations. Very very important to me.), and playing out the possibilities after a resignation. By far, the best way to show a game of history.
I nominate you personally, this guy and this vid, for the YT Pulitzer prize of, "Just show the damn game!", award. :)
With the others, it is like working on a tough engineering case, with your kids bugging you.
What an amazing game. Please share more RJF games. Thank you so much. Loves from Turkey!
i like the way you analize the other option of moves keep it up.
This is a great channel I've discovered by chance. I really like your reviews. Also giving time for us to think about the possible next moves is a great idea. Thank you very much, already subed, keep up the good work !!!

This is *REAL* entertainment. Thanks for sharing. Regards,
Excellent Video Tutorial!
i wanted to improve chess, m, father bought me a book with nice chess parties, but it was too much work to replay every game and think about the moves. so i gave it up. you combine everything: interesting parties replayed with highlighted additions commented with logic. thank you. you are the best. please keep doing this

Fischer chess is just so much more satisfying than watching any Master these days.

Thanks Jerry. I lost your analyses of classic games!
1st/ i do not know how to play chess. my wife attempted to teach me but i got a headache.
she showed me your commentary on this video & i kind of got it [sans headache] & enjoyed it as well.
she is now trying a chess for dummies in coordination with your videos.
(our marriage for the last 32 years has been based on her being smarter about most things)
so here we go...............
I'm just starting to play the game and it fascinates me how many of the moves you analyze I never see coming...a very intricate game...and obviously that's why it is so fun to play....thanks again.
awesome video TB ;)

Thank you.
thank you
That's the enduring quality of Fischer that allowed the game to become a high stakes sport & accessible to the mainstream as well as allowing him to chalk up so many victories... the BEST DEFENSE is an attacking position... it makes for exciting chess & demands creativity & thinking out of the box... Fischer challenged himself more than his opponents & that drive is at the heart of what made him who he was
Fischer was an absolute dynamo with this Bc4 Fischer-Sozin attack.
Damn, absolutely incredible.
Congrats on 200K subs man !!
Great video bud
Love your vids jerry
