❤📚 I've been searching on Pinterest for reading journal inspiration, so I'm so happy to see your beautiful journal. This will be my first attempt at making/keeping a reading journal.
Such a cute idea! I'm going to get journals for my girls (they're in middle school) and work on this together this weekend. Thanks for the fun ideas-love the bookshelf with the window!
Last year you inspired me to start a reading journal. This year since i've been watching more journaling creators i started my 2024 reading journal rather early. I have a floral/butterfly theme for my spreads. Recently I also started a monthly planner as well!! And i may start a budget journal 😅😅
I really wanted to start doing a reading Journal in 2024 but I had supplies or any clue on what supplies to get so this showed me that u don't need a whole lot, thank you!
This is beautiful! You have a talent. I'm really excited for my journal, I'm repurposing an undated teacher's planner as a reading journal and i love it
I was so inspired by this that I went to the website where you bought your journal, and have bought one! 2024 will be my first ever year of filling out a reading journal 😊 such a lovely creative idea, thank you ❤
I love how this looks! I'm so tempted to start my own reading journal now, but I know myself enough to suspect I might give up mid April 😂 But the spread with the bookshelves and the window is sooo beautiful, I wish Goodreads would upgrade its features to have something like this 😅 Right now my biggest reading goal for the end of 2023 is finishing the three books I'm in the middle of because I know I'm getting lots of books as Christmas gifts and I wanna start reading them as soon as possible 😂
I love this type of vlog like this with bloggers, personalized book notebooks, posis, how you show us indicative maps of what your world is like 🌍📚✨ reader I enjoy it like a dream
I had a reading journal but I kinda gave up midway through the year. I already track my books on Storygraph and I sometimes don't find the motivation to track them physically. However, you have inspired me. I love these spreads because they really do remind me of 'The starless sea' which is my favourite book.
It will be my first time doing a reading journal..I haven't read since childhood only started a few years ago, I'm finding it hard to know what books to read, Thank you for sharing your speads it was nice to see.
Makes me want to try being more artisitic. I'll be starting a journal this year for the first time so I'm binge watching videos all day for ideas. Thanks for making them.
I have not set up my reading journal for 2024 yet, and yes, you did give me some ideas! I haven’t fully decided on my theme, I honestly may just wing it this time around and see how it turns out!
I started my 2024 reading journal rather early just to make sure I got it done. The only pages that are themed is my book tracker page and my 24 books to read in 2024 tracker page. I chose Studio Ghibli bookshelf themed for my book tracker page and my 24 books to read in 2024 tracker page is Ponyo themed. I am currently reading The Only One Left, slowly reading An Ember In The Ashes, and Half A Soul. Happy reading and Merry Christmas!
Thank you for sharing, Katie! I love how yours turned out! 😍Yesterday I set up an altered book to use as my 2024 reading journal. It's an old reader's digest romance that I covered up and painted and went with a birds and flowers theme.
How did you manage to do this? Did you just stick papers inside to cover the pages of the digest? This is such a cool idea. I've never seen anyone else do it!
@@Chaos_and_Creativity I tear out about 1/3 of the pages throughout the book and save them for later notebooks or projects. Then I use gesso and pain to cover most of the words on the page. I plan to use scratch paper and notebook paper to paste into the book. You can search "altered book" to see how others make them too. So many creative ideas out there!
I started book journaling this year in a random notebook I had and I loved it! I am getting a new journal for this specific purpose for 2024, so excitingggggg 🥰
THIS IS JUST WHAT I NEEDED!!! I was watching your previous year spreads for some journaling inspo and then this popped up. ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR JOURNAL VIDEOS❤❤
I love your setup! 😍 you’ve inspired me to make a mood board of colors for this year - I just ordered my new journal & can’t wait to set it up! I’m thinking greens/golds 😏
Watching this makes me wish I'd come across your channel earlier! I've been meaning to do a 2023 wrap up of the books I've read, and i track what i read every month, but i LOVE the way you've dedicated a journal to it! I suppose March isnt too late to start considering i have all the info though! Definitely loved this video ♡
Watching this as I finish my 2023 spreads and setting up my 2024 spreads. No specific themes used but trying to use more stickers than last year for an easier time
This journal is SOOOO dreamy!!!! I wish I had the time to do something as detailed !! I just use my Traveller's Notebook to do a short (half page) review for each book I read and I have a spread in my Bullet Journal to track all the books that I read in the year. I track too many other things to be able to keep up with a full reading journal like this (unfortunately)
i just recently discovered ur channel about 2 days ago & im loving every video i watch!! yesterday was such a scary day for me, i had my first panic attack and when i came home i went back to watching ur vids 💜
oh i’m so sorry to hear that, but i’m also so happy i had even a small part in making your day a bit better! i hope you’re feeling a bit better now!!!🩷🫶🏻
can't wait to see all of these filled out throughout the year next year. i'm also working on my 2024 spread and your journal always give inspirations. love your starless sea key theme. 🗝
It might help you to plan out the pages in the form of a small sketch on printer paper so you can see them all side by side. It's what I did for my current reading journal and my old bullet journal.
I have not started setting up my 2024 journal yet because I am still behind on some pages in my 2023 journal and I want to catch up first 🥴 But your video gave me a lot of inspiration! I'm so excited to set up new pages hopefully soon!
You've made me want to do journaling too even though I'm really bad at maintaining them😭😭, yours look so aesthetic, I love the theme and the color palate.
ah thank you😭 but i also used to be really bad at maintaining journals! i tried to start a bullet journal in high school like 3 separate times and never kept up with them for more than a week!
I love how your spreads turned out! You've definitely inspired me to try some of your layouts for my 2024 bujo and I wasn't considering doing a 2024 bujo set up but after watching this...i might just have to💛
i love your spreads so much they always inspire me to keep making my reading journal:) also your sweatshirt is so cute i was wondering where you got it from🫶🏼
The Anita Blake series is a classic Urban Fantasy. Laurel K Hamilton has been credited for making Urban/paranormal fantasy a bigger Genre. The series does get very graphic spicy closer to book 15 ish. But everything is in its own chapters so if you don't like that type of spice you can skip those chapters and won't miss anything in the story line.
Love the yearly spread! Im reading Emily Wildes Map of the Otherlands atm, it's so good!! My theme ended up being a plant theme, and I took inspo from your window book shelves for my books read page 😅
I write down my TBR for each month and all the books I end up reading. It's nothing. Just a list. When I finish a book, I write down title, page count, rating, the day I finished it, and the date the book was published. So, yeah, nothing fancy.
Definitely pick up Hobb's titles, you won't regret it! But maybe read Ship of Magic after the 1st cycle of the Farseer! It's easier to understand what happened. That's how I felt. 😊 P.S. Laughed so hard at Winnie at the end😂
that’s my current plan!! although i am especially excited to get to liveship traders! thank you for the advice!!🫶🏻 and winnie is always trying to get some screen time i swear😭
Ahhh finaly! I really really wanted to see your spread for 2024! Inspiration hit me like a train too!
I’m working on my 2024 reading journal spreads today so this video came at the perfect time!
aw yay🥰 i hope they turned out well!!
I don’t normally love “bookshelfie” spreads but yours with the window and the moon was so pretty ❤
❤📚 I've been searching on Pinterest for reading journal inspiration, so I'm so happy to see your beautiful journal. This will be my first attempt at making/keeping a reading journal.

I’m really excited for this new journal, I’m going for a witchy black and purple vibe and so far it’s really pretty
ooh that sounds like such a fun theme!!🫶🏻
Love the spreads!!! My favorite is the moon page. 🌙
Making a spelling error but just leaving it bc trying to fix it would draw more attention to it is so relatable 😅
I love how this looks! I'm so tempted to start my own reading journal now, but I know myself enough to suspect I might give up mid April 😂 But the spread with the bookshelves and the window is sooo beautiful, I wish Goodreads would upgrade its features to have something like this 😅

Yes!!! More inspo for my journal for next year!
im barely getting into reading journals so my first one will def be gothic themed !!
I wAnt to find a channel where they read mostly horror and thrillers and design their theme around that. So far I haven't. Have you had any luck?
I'm glad you decided to make this reading journal set up video, it was one of my favorites and a great inspiration! 🤗
I read long shadow in 2023 and loved it!!! Can’t wait for you to read it too 💕
Makes me want to try being more artisitic. I'll be starting a journal this year for the first time so I'm binge watching videos all day for ideas. Thanks for making them.

I’ve been thinking of starting a reading journal but it seemed overwhelming until your video. Thanks for the inspiration!!

It might help you to plan out the pages in the form of a small sketch on printer paper so you can see them all side by side. It's what I did for my current reading journal and my old bullet journal.
comparison is the thief of joy
I loved this video, I have no clue what my theme is going to be... Thanks for the ideas and the inspiration..
it looks so good!! i’ve done mine but only in pencil, i still have to decide what colour pallet to use
i swear deciding on the color pallet is always the hardest part😩
@@katieisreading it really is 😩
