Jimmie Allen Is Fire... He Is A Down Home Kind Of Guy,.. So Proud Of Him... This Will Be Number 1 Real Soon. Your Dad And Grandmother Is Watching You Shine!!!!!
I just lost my daddy last month and it’s been rough not having him here with us. I heard this song on my way home this morning and I got goosebumps, started to cry just a little but had a huge smile on my face at the same time. All the feels in this one! Definitely adding this song to my “I sure am missing my daddy” playlist! From the lyrics to the sound of your voice… you have such amazing talent!! Thank you, sir! ❤️❤️❤️
@@shashashel5551 it’s probably the biggest heartbreak I’ve ever experienced. Definitely makes you want to cherish every. single. moment with the ones you love. Sending hugs and positive vibes your way. Thank you for your kindness! 🙏🏼❤️

Lost my childhood friend a month ago. We would sing this song driving 70 down in Georgia. Windows down wind blowing and singing together. Song brings me peace 🕊️
I can’t believe he wasn’t nominated for an award at the Country Music Awards. That was shameful, this guy has a beautiful voice and sings amazing songs.I love him 🙏❤️
I'm 50/50 with your opinion, although this is sang really well that shouldn't be enough for him to "jump the line" so to speak & win, when there's so much talent out there that's been out alot longer still pushing for recognition.
Well,I listen to a lot of his music and they are all the same,AMAZING.The same with KEN BROWN.He’s also one that doesn’t get the recognition he deserves. His music is so relatable hands on with life, and yet he knows when to have fun with his lyrics 🙏❤️🥰😘
I know this song is about his dad, but I lost my mom last year and this song makes me think of her. I know she'll be watching her grandchildren from heaven. I miss her so much
Just watched you on The Wendy Williams Show, and cried while you were singing this beautiful song. Made me think of my mom that we lost in 2019. She was also a fan of country music, and we're from Michigan.

Love it!! It's the first time I've heard you.. and this Song made me Cry. I know he's got to be Proud of you. It's so hard losing your Parents. Ive lost both parents, a Sister, Cousins ,Grandparents, my Best Friend of 50 yrs and my Dogs! I'm serious.. that song really hit me. I needed a good cry. Be Blessed PS my Life Sounds like a Country Song
As someone born & raised in Millsboro, Delaware (Lower Slower), I am so proud of Jimmie Allen. He really represents and on top of all that, he just makes extremely good music. Love it!💯😌🥀💜👏👏
I was born and raised right across the state line on the Eastern Shore of Maryland (Talbot County), which means y'all are still my Delmarva Peninsula brothers & sisters (i have a ton of family on the DE side too!!) Tierrasanea9560 summed it up perfectly....Jimmie, MY BROTHER, we're all proud of you!! Your music is awesome!!
I was 6 when my dad passed. I am now 54 & still feel the same about mines these 48 yrs later as you describe in your song - that's how close we were those 6 yrs I had him in my life.. Thank you for writing this beautiful song....
Lost my Father March 2021, had 39 years with the man that i will forever call my best friend. No one could ever top him, and im glad he was my best friend, and I was with him every step of the way as he took his journey to his forever home.
My dad passed on Halloween 2022. This hits the spot... I know he is making everyone smile. Love you Dad! Nobody gave me the feeling with their presence like you.
Heaven is just another Realm and They are the audience in the clouds the God Particle aka living water and Very proud of you when you strive to do good for yourself and others and never forget we are home in heavens realms this is not our home so who is really away from home ? proof all day long the dead are alive on other side !
This song kills me every time I hear it. It's so beautiful ❤️ there's a very close friend I lost due to an unexpected death. I think of him every day and I could just cry listening to this but somehow it helps.
I played this song for my wife yesterday. She lost her daddy one year ago. She cried her way through it because the song does so well describing him. What a sweet gesture for Jimmie Allen to write this for his daddy. And thank you Jimmie because that song touches all of us that have lost our “Big Jim”. God bless.
I lost my dad in 2015, he committed suicide four months after my mom died, this song is so sad and beautiful at the same time!! Prayers to your wife!! I understand what she’s going through!! Sending you both love and light!!
Absolutely love the song! Makes me think of my grandparents and how much I wish they could be here with me during my most important years, but I know they are watching every step! Beautiful song Jimmie 💕
I have always loved Country Music, but I only found out about Jimmie Allen while watching The Voice. He is not well-known in South Africa, which is a shame. I am so glad I found out how good he is. I love this song!
Lost my dad when I was 17 years old. That was 18 years ago. I have 2 sons that I wish he could’ve met. I still hope I’m making him proud. It’s been that long and songs like this still get me. Thanks for the awesome music!!!!
My dad passed on 8/8/05. This song makes the eyes water. Favorite line is “On a backroad bumping Charley Pride Yeah, every song keeps you right here with me” One of my favorite memories was driving down a dirt road in his F100 , windows down , Charley Pride playing and a dust cloud behind us. If you’re are fortunate enough to still have your dad here, go hang out and make some memories
Lost my dad, three years NEXT Month and I have not left my mother's side. As I had made my father before he passed away, that I would never let anyone take advantage of her. as he didn't for 48 years, and KNOW one will as long as I have a breath Left in me
this is the true sound of country pop. This is something I want for Jimmie Allen to stick to. not everyone knows this, but modern traditional country + mainstream pop = country pop, and when you do that you get songs like this.
I recently lost my younger brother just before Xmas to a short cancer battle. He was only 37 and left behind two beautiful daughters. His youngest was born a month after his passing. This song keeps him right here with me.
This right here. This is real fkn country. Even though it's pretty new this is one of my favorite country songs of all time. That's the point of country, tell a story and make you feel something.
Your such a gifted entertainer Jimmy and us fans are so lucky to have you in are lives ❤God bless you this song Down home is such a beautiful tribute to your dad and he would be proud of you as well as Charley Pride would be
This song reminded me of all the great things about my "Grannie" All her fabulos cooking, that's what brought us all home.....her cooking, her faith, that was our glue. Thanks for the memory lane...
This song reminds me of my son who is gone in spirit and it’s as if his brother and sister still here are singing it to him..I know this is about a father who has passed but it does fit my circumstances. Love this song..Justin FE19

Yeah, every song keeps you right here with me”
One of my favorite memories was driving down a dirt road in his F100 , windows down , Charley Pride playing and a dust cloud behind us. If you’re are fortunate enough to still have your dad here, go hang out and make some memories

this is the true sound of country pop. This is something I want for Jimmie Allen to stick to. not everyone knows this, but modern traditional country + mainstream pop = country pop, and when you do that you get songs like this.
Man Jimmie Allen is soooo underrated!!!🎶🎧🔥 Thank you sir for your music! 💪🙌🙏💯
Thanks man. I miss my Dad. Left us on 6/3/2022.
