this made my whole day, truly. this is really random but.. i was just reading about a Japanese term called “Ikigai.” it’s essentially your purpose for living and is usually applied (in western countries) to your career choices. one of the factors to choosing your career is if it is something the world needs. when i read your comment, i felt affirmed that my art is needed. thank you for making me feel special and proud of myself. it means more than you will ever know.
also, i hope you are able to find some hope and healing. depression is really hard to work through, but i believe in your ability to survive and create a life you’re proud of living. if you ever need anything, don’t hesitate to reach out.
It comes in waves, and I've just lost a lot these past two years, but I'll be okay. I have a lot of good in my life too. Music, food, and family keep me sane. As for my purpose in life, 30 andstill working on that lmao. But thriving 30s right? I'll find what I'm looking for sooner or later. Thanks for the good thoughts, it's appreciated
