Im older than both of you. I watched You Cant Do That On Television had Alanis Morrisette on it, and The Origional Double Dare back in the early 80's and 90's so im dating mysel alot. Mr Wizards World was awesome too. ❤️👍😀🔥
That was not the airing of the *OG Mr. Wizard,* he was on in the early 60s and 70s (maybe earlier); I watched him when I was knee high to a grasshopper (born in 1966).BTW I did watch him on Nickelodeon as well.
Team Golf Ball - as always, For a ~100 year old course - that is a GREAT course. Really great share.! Wish we could see more Miniature Golf courses that looked this good. This may well have been the best kept course of the year!
LOL! We had the 3 major broadcast networks. We watched the Bugs Bunny Show and Scooby-Doo growing up! You guys are describing the shows my oldest son watched 😊
You two are hilarious. I love the looks on Brook's face when things go bad and especially Elisha putting him in a bad place on the last hole. That is a beautiful course, it shows how one can last when made well and then being well maintained.
What a well maintained course, amazing holes. And I think we got a new Elisha curse word, Fudgesicle lol. Hole 17 was maybe the best hole I have seen ever.
Interestingly I think 17 is just a horribly designed hole not to mention completely lacking any semblance of fun whatsoever. The whole course is no fun
Thanks for bring us these amazing courses. The techno-one in Atlanta and now the oldest one in Texas. These are really cool to see. That one hole where you had to chip was insane and you both did great jobs. Keep up the good work.
The Angry Beavers was my favorite!! Second favorite was Hey Arnold. You're not old unless you remember stick stickly, Clarissa Explains it All, and Legends of the Hidden Temple.
I think the oldest operating minigolf is in Rochester? Hope you guys can come up north when it's warmer, Mid-Atlantic and New England has some amazing minigolfs. Also glad you're a fan of Rocket Power and Blue's Clues, loved those growing up.
This just might be the coolest BEST designed mini golf course I've ever seen! BTW - Brooks, you are correct, the larger "Orange,Black, & some white panes near the wing tips in the "church window panes", are Monarch butterflies.
Alisha's snickering cracks me up. Shows that I watched on Nickelodeon were "You Can't Do That On Television" and "Double Dare". Later on I watched "Rugrats".
2 holes in and loving this video, the Nickelodeon chat was awesome and Brooks your 2nd shot on hole 2 is very impressive from that angle! Already looks like a nice course, got that old-school feel to it but kept in good condition, looks like a lot of fun.
That was a great course and Thank you to their staff for letting you play when they were closed . The up keep was great for being that old . Great video guys ❣🙂💟
Great course and awesome job you two! I loved Nickelodeon more than anything as a kid! Penguins of Madagascar was my absolute favorite show but I also really liked Wonder Pets, Big Time Rush, Victorious, and other shows.
You know you're really old when the barely-30-somethings chat about dating themselves by what TV shows they watched that you've never heard of! 😄 Awesome course, highly amusing video, and props to management for allowing you the run of the place! PS What was with the marooned blue ball on #10--- Stay safe!
I read your comment before watching the video, once I finally got to that point I was like, wow, that is totally blue, not maroon. I missed the "ed". I'm sending this as an example to youtube, that you can in fact learn about something, before speaking about it. As I did not, in this case.
Over here in the UK we had the Wild Thornberry's and Rugrats on a programme called CBBC. Plus Hey Arnold was on a programe called CITV. Keenan And Kell we managed to get a couple of series over here in uk on CBBC and what a show that was. Every 90's kid used to shout Orange Soda all the time. I remember bear in the big blue house was for toddlers. CITV and CBBC were on like 3pm till 5.30ish monday till fridays.
One of my favorite cartoons. I was a bit older, being born in 1970, but have always liked cartoons. I have always loved the cartoon Doug. it kinda reminded me of the adventures of Pete and Pete which I liked as well.
All of the TV stations and TV shows are making me get very reminiscent of my childhood I loved PBS Nickelodeon and noggin They all had great shows on them greatest time to be a kid best tvs for kids by far. When I was listening to u guys talk about them all made me Reminiscent to a better time lol
Let me show my age. ^_^ My favorite Nickelodeon show of all time was "You Can't Do That on Television". One of the original Nick shows when it first aired on cable. Yeah, I'm old. >.< Thanks to you both for all of your videos. I don't get to go out golfing much anymore, so it's nice to see all these courses and all the fun y'all have.
Great question at the start of the video. Favorite Nickelodeon show growing up. Honestly i had 2, but i grew up before you guys did. Mine were Mr. Wizard and You Cant Do That On Television
Happy to see y'all in my hometown again and what a well maintained course for being as old as it is. Really didn't have Nickelodeon but I was watching Transformers and GI Joe as a kid. Much older than you two though lol
That was an AWESOME course, & a very clean well maintained course as well! The whole play to 6 was used "Only" when the minigolf course was crowded & full with oeople in-front & behind you. So actually if you have the minigolf course all to yourselves or even with a very small amount of people. You play and finish a hole until you putt the ball into the cup, which i think you and Elisha should play. I think you guys play good enough that it should not happen, but if it does go beyond six Play It Until Your Golf Ball goes "INTO' the cup! Yes, No, Maybe...?
Old school but still fun. I grew up with the game shows like Double Dare and Legends of the Hidden Temple. The bear show you are talking about is Bear in the Big Blue House from the Disney Channel
We didn't have Nickelodeon when I was a kid... we only had 3 channels and I grew up watching Underdog, Tom & Jerry, Rocky & Bullwinkle, and the Flintstones. I think I am your oldest subscriber! :)
Rocko's Modern Life was my favorite Nick show growing up. I also watched Hey Arnold, Catdog, Wild Thornberrys, Angry Beavers, and I am sure there were others.
I remember when I was little I liked watching Blues Clues, Dora, Rugrats, and SpongeBob. There are a couple others shows that I remember but I don’t want to bore anybody by listing them all.
I liked a lot of the afternoon shows when we got home from school. A little popsicle stick called stick stickly would fly around our tv and tell us about what’s on. Also I remember there was this thing called “face” that was in our tv as well. I can’t remember if Face was Disney or Nickelodeon. I loved Rocket Power, Wild and Crazy Kids, Double Dare, and Legends of the Hidden Temple! So many classics! I still love digging through all of them to watch! 90’s kids are the best! Johnny Bravo was also a favorite! I loved the old Cartoon Network (which is now Boomerang).
My top 3 Nickelodeon kids shows were Rocket Power, Rugrats, and Blues Clues. Love the video and that first hole big bear that lives in blue house, that was hilarious 🤣🤣🤣
legend of the Hidden Temple, Guts, Rugrats, Angry Beavers, Cat Dog, Blues Clues, Hey Arnold, The Amanda Show, Drake and Josh, Kenan and Kel, Are You Afraid of the Dark, The Adventures of Pete and Pete, Eerie Indiana, Clarissa Explains It All, All That, The Secret World of Alex Mack, Rocket Power, Aaahh!!! Real Monsters... Oh man... my childhood!!
Omg I'm so happy to hear you say rocket power over everything else, mine too, that show was awesome and was pretty much one of a kind and I'm pretty sure it still is the only one of its kind, got me into a lot of stuff that wasn't lame like soccer and all that crap
Favorite Nick shows (animated): Rugrats and CatDog -- (non animated): Guts, Double Dare, Legends of of the Hidden Temple, Nick Arcade, and Figure It Out. My bother and I almost got go see a taping of Legends and Figure It Out; unfortunately we left too early because Hurricane Earl was coming through, so we thought (long story). Other than that, what an amazing *old course* except for Hole#17 and maybe (especially for Brooks)Hole#18. Also Brooks' ball remined me of a *50/50 Bar* since Elisha was saying *Fudgesiciles*.when she missed some shots.(sorry for the long comment, but worth the read) ⛳⛳ Day 15 well worth it.
My favorites were You can't do That on Television, Doug, Rocko's Modern Life, Wild and Crazy Kids, Family Double Dare, the other game show I can't remember the name of where they had to climb The Crag at the end, and the other show hosted by Mark Summers (can't remember the name of it to save my life).
You shot this video in a part of Texas that is on the migration route of monarch butterflies. If it was orange and black/brown it was probably a monarch.
Mine was You Can't Do That on Television and Double Dare. But I'm older than dirt. Later on in life, I liked Clarissa Explains It All, The Secret World of Alex Mack, and Are You Afraid of the Dark,
"What was the name of that show with the bear in that big house?" reminded me of the day my daughter asked me "Daddy, who sings that song 'Hey, Hey We're the Monkees'."
I was watching some of your old bowling videos yesterday. Did you know there are left handed bowling balls and shoes, designed differently than right handed ones? I just found this out today. I'm left handed too and wonder if that's why I can never get bowling right.
Yes a left handed ball would have the thumb in a slightly different position than a right handed ball and for those people who actually buy a ball, they drill them so the weight block is in a position to help the ball hook left to right. Also you can get shoes that have slides on both feet and can be used by either right or left handed people but they do sell right slide or left slide only shoes?
I'm left-handed and did not know this! I like to keep a mental list of things people don't realise are right-handed so I'm definitely putting bowling balls on the list (along with pencil sharpeners, rulers, and bread knives, plus a few other things...)
I was more into The Littles. Of course, that was back in the early 80s. I loved School House Rock, from the 70s. I have the whole series on DVD. However, growing up in the 50s and 60s, it was all about the Mickey Mouse Club.
Happy day 15 of "25 Days of Mini Golf"! 🎄
This is one of the oldest mini golf courses in the country!
Given that...it's INCREDIBLY well maintained!!! The course itself is beautiful!
Elisha just named my three favorite shows from Nickelodeon. I grew up watching so many shows on Nickelodeon as a kid.
I have actually played mini golf there before. Both courses by the way. Both were tons of fun and I hope you guys liked it.
I was 24 when Nickelodeon started. You Can't Do That on Television is the show I remember, it was the one they started the slime thing on.
this one is actually max is 7 strokes per hole instead of usual 6
Im older than both of you. I watched You Cant Do That On Television had Alanis Morrisette on it, and The Origional Double Dare back in the early 80's and 90's so im dating mysel alot. Mr Wizards World was awesome too. ❤️👍😀🔥

They rebooted Double Dare w/ Marc Summers in the announcer role.
@@jgj4430 Yep, but the OG was better and I liked Harvey as the announcer.
Same here. Gods do I feel old...lol
Me too. And Clarissa Explains It All. We didn’t get cable until I was like 7 or 8, so I missed some stuff.
Team Golf Ball - as always,
For a ~100 year old course - that is a GREAT course. Really great share.! Wish we could see more Miniature Golf courses that looked this good. This may well have been the best kept course of the year!
I agree really well maintained course.
Brooks in every other video: We play to 6
Brooks knowing he's losing: You get a 9
😂😂
If you guys are old, then I am ancient! I am pre Nickelodeon 😁
LOL!
We had the 3 major broadcast networks. We watched the Bugs Bunny Show and Scooby-Doo growing up!
You guys are describing the shows my oldest son watched 😊
And oh what heights we'll hit.....on with the show this is it...🤗
You two are hilarious. I love the looks on Brook's face when things go bad and especially Elisha putting him in a bad place on the last hole. That is a beautiful course, it shows how one can last when made well and then being well maintained.
Legends of the Hidden Temple, Guts, Double Dare. Great stuff from Nick
its amazing to think of all people who have played this course, what a beautiful course
@@MattKeller I think, for me, it was that is was so different.
Thanks for bring us these amazing courses. The techno-one in Atlanta and now the oldest one in Texas. These are really cool to see. That one hole where you had to chip was insane and you both did great jobs. Keep up the good work.

Legends of the Hidden Temple, Double Dare, You Can't Do That On Television, and of course Ren and Stimpy!!!
18:00 and 18:08 - Those shots were GLOWING, Brooks: Grant Lip Outs When It's Not Grant.
You probably know what I'm on about, too!
Love the design of this course, makes it for a good challenge. Well played Brooks & Elisha
This just might be the coolest BEST designed mini golf course I've ever seen!
BTW - Brooks, you are correct, the larger "Orange,Black, & some white panes near the wing tips in the "church window panes", are Monarch butterflies.
Speaking of high scores, I really like those high tech corses you recently played, & would love to see more of them.
The one in Chicago is the exact same as what they did. So it not different
Great match. Great course for being almost 100 years old. Congratulations Elisha on the win. Team Elisha all the way
Hey Brooks! Us older folks loved mini golf too. There were several good courses, but they weren’t maintained, and closed down…lol
Alisha's snickering cracks me up. Shows that I watched on Nickelodeon were "You Can't Do That On Television" and "Double Dare". Later on I watched "Rugrats".
Salute your Shorts, Adventures of Pete & Pete. I’m old now as well
Salute your Shorts, You Can't Do That on Television, Roundhouse, Double Dare, Ren and Stimpy, and most of the other 90s shows.
I'm late to the party, but "Count Duckula" was my favorite. It still holds up today!
2 holes in and loving this video, the Nickelodeon chat was awesome and Brooks your 2nd shot on hole 2 is very impressive from that angle! Already looks like a nice course, got that old-school feel to it but kept in good condition, looks like a lot of fun.
Awesome course and video. I kept imagining my grandparents (who both passed away 30-40 years ago) might have played this course in their day.
My childhood was when TV went off the air at night, there was no cable, our movies were the drive-ins, and there were only 13 channels including UHF
That was a great course and Thank you to their staff for letting you play when they were closed . The up keep was great for being that old . Great video guys ❣🙂💟
This will be a fun one! I tried to play this course several times, but they were closed every time I went. Glad to see you got to visit my home city!!
Great course and awesome job you two! I loved Nickelodeon more than anything as a kid! Penguins of Madagascar was my absolute favorite show but I also really liked Wonder Pets, Big Time Rush, Victorious, and other shows.

Agreed. Nickelodeon wasn't a thing when I was growing up.
Ha, thinking the same thing Geoff. I think I had heard of a few as my kids watched them.
I read your comment before watching the video, once I finally got to that point I was like, wow, that is totally blue, not maroon. I missed the "ed".
I'm sending this as an example to youtube, that you can in fact learn about something, before speaking about it. As I did not, in this case.
Agreed. I watched Bugs Bunny, Space Ghost, the Flintstones, Get Smart and Hogan's Heroes.
Loony tunes and Hanna barberra here. I'm old for realz. HR puff and stuff old.
I love watching Double Dare and Legends of the Hidden Temple and all that
wow what a brilliant course , one of your best .

You can't do that on Television was a Nick I remember. Wow those last 4 holes were totally hilarious to get through. 23:03 😂 25:33 😆

Great question at the start of the video. Favorite Nickelodeon show growing up. Honestly i had 2, but i grew up before you guys did. Mine were Mr. Wizard and You Cant Do That On Television
That show that had a bear in the Blue House you guys mentioned was Little Bear!
The irony of using a wedge on a mini golf, just a day after not using a wedge on a pitch and putt. Good choice putting these two vids back to back.
Happy to see y'all in my hometown again and what a well maintained course for being as old as it is. Really didn't have Nickelodeon but I was watching Transformers and GI Joe as a kid. Much older than you two though lol

Really cool older course and an interesting look at course design from early days of the sport. That second shot by Brooks on #11 was pretty sweet.
longer holes are more entertaining.
Favorite 3 shows on Nick..
Rugrats, Ren & Stimpy and Double Dare.. Fun and challenging course..
#TeamPinkLemonade
Really cool course! I liked it. Lol when your ball got stuck in the volcano. Never seen that happen
Always nice to watch you two thanks for the videos.
I'm telling my age but I loved "Today's Special", "Don't Just Sit There", & "Double Dare". Very well maintained course. Awesome video!
We had Captain Kangaroo. 😀
Never heard of that one 👀
@@BrooksHolt He went off the air in 1984 after 29 years so I'm not surprised. I would have been watching him around 1960. 🙂🙂
That tells our age, I remember the Captain also.
Watched the Captain too! Just don't say pin pong ...
In Seattle, we had JP Patches, a clown that lived at the City dump. 1958 to 1981.
We love playing this course
Old school but still fun. I grew up with the game shows like Double Dare and Legends of the Hidden Temple. The bear show you are talking about is Bear in the Big Blue House from the Disney Channel
Orange and Yellow is the Nickelodeon colors. My favorite show is Paw Patrol, Marshall is so funny with his wipeouts
'Ol Jebediah Putt Putt wasn't messing around when he designed that one. Tough course.
The course look great and look like fun too.
Bear in the Big Blue House was Disney, Elisha. :) Also, Brooks: didn't you guys play this course once before?

This is so cool!!
My hometown. Fun course to play. Maybe 20yrs ago or so, it was up for sale and some family friends were thinking about buying it.
Impressive course upkeep and conditions
Rocko's Modern Life, Doug , Hey Arnold!, Nickelodeon Guts, Get the Picture, Finders Keepers, Salute Your Shorts and many more

Rocket Power, CatDog, Rugrats, Wild Thornberry's, Hey Arnold, Jimmy Neutron, just to name a few haha.
