@@CarutoDeath Note is what you get when your writer understands NOTHING about the core audience, the source material, and possibly suspense in general
The guy playing Luffy needs some work but Sanji and especially Zoro who was coming from acting in the Kenshin movies did their thing…but Luffy is a brawler with a few special moves so in time the guy playing him can get better in fight scenes
The only issue with the show is the story, but you can't blame them because they only had 5 episodes to do something with. And they did the absolute best they could with it. But imagine if we got a full length series of this with a more accurately paced storyline. Loved the show, even my parents liked it.

Those hands! I had issues with some changes, like how our homies end up training under Genkai without having to prove themselves or how unearned Yusuke’s wave orb felt after Gebkai was talking all that good shit about Yusuke not amounting to anything, but the fights made up for it.
@@adminsucks8806 It sounds outdated because you probably didn't watch it, the changes that were left out described and gave a reason why they were picked among the others to train under Genkai. Yu yu hakusho is one of first anime I've watched as a little 90s kid way before one piece. This anime gets me hooked in. I admit the live actions fighting scenes and some amazing Cgi, but I, with only 5 episodes, I felt that the story got rushed and missed a lot of good parts. Like his death and revive with a kiss. Even one piece live action has questionable cgi it still the best live action. Again, I love both anime and manga of Yyh and Op
Love the show or hate the show THIS is the gold standard of how live action anime choreography should be done. This clears One Piece by a mile when it comes to the action.
the only people who believe this is yyh fans😂the zorro fight with mihawk/black cats alone solos the entire choreography of yyh...the pacing and character building was mildly bad since they decided to leave out the tournament which was what made fans have emotions for a character like hiei who they butchered in here(story wise). rushed ahh powerscaling during the training with genkai and the last episode where he fought toguro. the cgi was majority times good but I laughed at the last episodes with how toguro was moving😂 and when he spoke to genkai on the stairway, the cgi there was so bad that they should've left that part out. theres a reason alot of people during the first week watched one piece live action and why one piece got rated higher within the first 24 hours then yyh throughout the week
Jumping to conclusions is a hell of a thing. I am way more of a One Piece fan that a YYH fan. The OP live action is better in every possible way from how they adapted the story to the characters even the actors they chose to bring the One Piece characters to life. All I meant is that the action could have been improved and hopefully with the success of the first season maybe the budget in that department will be increased. ofc the action is very diff from YYH with the devil fruit powers so maybe that could have been a factor. So when i said it "clears it" i was coming from the point of view of just brain off pure action and choreography. Having a better story will always make an action scene better since u care more. SO I'm looking for the love and care of the OP mixed with a lil more intensity from YYH. Nice to meet you as we all wait for the second season of OP ✌@@nahhyourwrong

For a 5 episode show that’s supposed to cover 50+ anime episodes, i would have to give it 8/10. They missed a lot of good side characters specially the ones from the tournament.
We shouldn’t have even gotten to the tournament even if they’re rushing things, 5 episodes was way too short 8 would’ve helped tremendously too much was cut out to be a 8/10 honestly
If they would have replaced Toguro with the saint beast arc, it would have been much better. But it’s still a good live action before the third episode
They should've stuck to the script and had Yusuke fight for the three artifacts. Then have season 2 focus on beast saints arc. Now I'm hoping that there is no season 2. Season 2 will pretty much be the black tape and the Makai tournament all rolled in one.
The fight choreography saved this coming from seeing the anime/manga, going into this blind I can see people enjoying this for being a supernatural action show…that aside 5 episodes is criminal 8 would’ve gave this the grace it needed and but have to force so much so soon into the story
I agree 💯 Hiei is my favorite character too and the actor portraying him missed the mark. In fact, I felt that Genkai was the main one besides Toguro elder and Karasu who were spot on. The fighting and stunt work made the real difference.
