- Bruichladdich 2008 Bere Barley is an Islay whisky that has been produced using Bere barley, which is a rugged barley that can grow in the toughest of conditions - perfect for Scotland. This whisky is presented naturally and bottled at 50% ABV. It originally cost around £70 when it first relased.
Let's see if it is a Whisky Win or a Whisky Bin.

Mashed potatoes or actually just potatoes of any kind, I don't think I've ever had that on the nose or palate of any whisky. Maybe some fine day 🤔😅
I've liked the 2 different Port Charlotte expressions (samples only), I've tasted of so far, but I've not even tasted the regular PC 10 yo, so maybe that's where I should start looking next, as I've read/heard quite a lot of good things about that one.

@@bennyfriis601 I get potatoes a lot with Blair Athol whiskies, a sort of strachy flavour😅
This one just didn't do too much for me unfortunately. I reckon I should try the normal 10 too. Cheers mate
