Very good content! 👍. I use a wide variety of slip on HD nozzles for mig and dual shield welding. It's very surprising how much difference from one to another. I usually have to make gas flow and wire feeder/ voltage corrections. Going from 5/8 to 3/8" nozzle. Total different gun performance.
I either stick weld or TIG... Never had any reason to buy a good MIG machine until now. Apparently, the nozzle vs TIG cup isn't as critical, just don't obstruct the shielding gas with your tip and nozzle combination. That's what I got from the video. MIG is an easy process, not quite as involved as TIG and your hand isn't getting smoked! 😆
Hi @ExploringCabinsandMines, you can use our ceramic coating spray: www.binzel-abicor.com/DE/eng/products/accessories/welding-chemicals/ceramic-spray/anti-spatter-agent-ceramic-spray-for-gas-nozzles.html To find out more or if you have any questions, please contact our welding experts using the contact form: www.binzel-abicor.com/DE/eng/company/contact/contact-us/
Hi, because flux core welding doesn't need/use shielding gas, there is no need for a nozzle to direct the shielding gas for proper coverage. Our flux core torches do not use a nozzle, however if you are using a standard MIG gun with flux core wire, any nozzle should work just fine.
Wish you showed close up what the differences are, never heard of conical nozzles before, never heard of nickel-plated nozzles either and I been welding 40 years....
Hey Mtn blue, you can find our torches at all of the major welding parts/gas distributors like Praxair or AirGas. We are at some local shops as well. Hope that helps!
This is a new welder service, the level of detail is exactly what I was looking for.
Much appreciated.
We're happy to help!
Should be a mandatory watch for all new mig welders. Thanks, I learned exactly what I was looking for.
We're glad you found it helpful! Thanks, Craig
This is very good content. This man know his stuff. Thank you Sir.

please tell me sir Which nozzle is used for overhead position MIG welding?
Good video. I just have never gotten used to "up talk" though.
is there a ceramic coated nozzle? i have problems with spatter sticking while welding upside down.

Good information. I should look at my everlast mig nozzles.
Does Binzel make nozzles for flux core welding with no gas.

Which insulating material you use inside the nozzle which give the longer life??
Hey Jay. It's a thermoplastic insert. Not sure of the exact material or rating of it.
Wish you showed close up what the differences are, never heard of conical nozzles before, never heard of nickel-plated nozzles either and I been welding 40 years....
Under a rock ?
40 years and you've never heard of these consumables??
So where can I purchase a MIG gun from Binzel?

@@abicor-binzel thanks!
Does the nickel plated nozzles have copper or brass under the platting? I assume copper?
Yes! They are Nickel Plated Copper.
ABICOR BINZEL okay, thank you for responding. will it always be copper or can they have brass sometimes to?
@@SulfuricDrop3 If you're using a BINZEL nickel-plated nozzle it will always be copper underneath the plating.
Your west coast sales rep. ( Craig) , sucks. He doesn't respond to calls. You have great products but your customer service in the U.S. is lousy.
The slip on ones are simply annoying.
