My wife and I are always amazed at how life just works out. Thank you for sharing that side of life. Yes things go wrong, life may not go how you thought it would, but it works itself out. Thank you for showing people that there is still kindness and goodness in the world.
That was customer service for them to haul a vehicle 4 hours and bring your truck back! WOW!! You just don't hear of this kind of service!! Stay safe!!
Hello guys, I just came across your videos today. Looking forward to seeing your earlier ones as well. It's time for my emissions test so I can get my renewal done here, live in Tucson as well.
I don’t think it will. We had some trouble with our truck for over a year (error code) it would power our truck down to 20 mph , needless to say three states and 4 dealers(under warranty) the very last place in the world. They fix the problem in a very small town a wonderful dealer they let us stay on property and fix in a few days needed a part. That was a year and half ago and no issues since
What I’ve been doing for the last 20 years or so is going to Ford and buying a one or two year-old F150 that’s been coming off a lease. You can get a fairly decent deal on a truck that’s probably got 16 to 20,000 miles on it and get a full warranty because technically you’re the first owner. The only drawback is the financing is as a used vehicle. just a little more information. Good luck.
I had a little dog who looks very much like Bucky. I took her everywhere with me except in the summer. Just because you can bring a dog into a store doesn’t mean you should. It’s better to leave them with the AC blasting and check on them frequently. I’ve seen get kicked out of stores because they bring in a “non-service dog.” The homeless people do this all the time.
Wonderful story. That’s what we like about you two, you encourage positive behavior and kindness. We have a dog that does the "traveling poop" thing too. What's with that?! 😊
Went through all this with my Ram 3500. It’s a diesle. Three transmissions later it’s a broken wire in the transmission harness. All is well now. Still love my truck
I live in Charlotte, NC which is Mecklenburg county, one of 9 counties in NC that has emmission tests. It is not expensive, but it is a hassel for sure. The check engine light on will fail your vehicle here too, so I feel your pain!
Yeah, our options were to go to Tucson (4 hours away) or Phoenix (2 hours away). Like we said, we were fortunate that we happened to have business in Tucson to take care of.
I don't know dude when ya bought the used truck, did ya have it checked out by an independent mechanic! Did they do you a favor or are you going to get stuck with an expensive car repair bill! It sounds like ya paid for a truck with a bad transmission! Now you might be paying them to have that bad transmission fixed! So now did ya buy that truck "as is" or get a warranty. Ya said it's a 16 so at least 7 YO, I'll bet "as is" no warranty! So did they do you a favor or take you to the cleaners? Oh ya can't shop the job around now! So they might be getting paid twice!
@@Soulcritic I'm sorry that you've clearly had nothing but bad experiences with car dealerships. Perhaps you should have gone to @LarryGreenChevrolet....

good story and good people.....................
We couldn't agree more!
Kudos to Larry Green Chevrolet

That's why we're SO glad we bought through them! We really got lucky!
Nice. Thanks, that's the best. 👋😊
A super nice positive video.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!

Welcome aboard! Thanks for watching.
That is amazing customer service. You just don’t see that very often ❤
We agree! I find myself waiting for the other shoe to drop!

Walmart allows all dogs. Not just service. He wants to be wherever we are and, if we can accommodate him, we do.

And, once this issue is fixed, I know I'm gonna love this truck, too. Glad your issue got corrected!
My luck doesn’t usually work that way. Yes it will break down. I’ve never had a dealer be that nice to me. Good luck.
Well we certainly hope that luck turns around!

I’m just curious, is there a reason why you went with a 2016 ( 7 years old) rather than a new truck?
Simply what we could afford.
@@TheRoamingGomes exactly, my wheelchair accessible van is a 2019 couldn't afford a newer one.
So what did the problem turn out to be ? What is the make and model of the truck ?
We actually outlined the issue in a follow-up video. It was the transmission. 2016 Ram 2500 Tradesman
Transmission Problems = Ram Trucks.
Yup, apparently right around the mileage when mine failed.
Glad the dealership took care of you but their is a reason why Stelantis / Dodge is going thru a massive lawsuit over their poorly built vehicles .
Gomes, how old are you?
Old enough

I will say this, they did not charge me for the transmission replacement which is another reason I highly recommend them. And yes, I bought it as-is.
