What a splendid job by the late Abami Eda, Baba Fela and Lagbaja. The depth-ness in "Yoruba" language is too solid, and balance. The language is also one of the few tonal languages in the world that could easily be blend with another language. It is very comprehensive on proverbs, pronouns, verbs and poems. It blend with any rhythm. It coherent easily on lyrics to make good music. It's vowels solidify it's spoken prowess. All these are what makes it possible for anybody who speaks the real correctness of the language to be very good in any other languages they speak...However, most "Yoruba" Sons and Daughters does not know the value of what they have as they can not even speak the language correctly...Too bad, and hope they will reverse this ugly trend of theirs....."Gelete Eerin, Gan'naku Eefon, Yanmuyanmu w'ole t'o won ni imu, inira f'akata eranko alagbara shebugbe"
In Latin America, British Isles and all over the world indigenous languages are dying because citizens are forced to use the dominant language rather than their own. Schools must teach these indigenous languages, one can never understand too many languages. Teach the dominant language as well as the regional language. Cultural expression is of great importance. Language is one of many forms of cultural expression!
