What is going on everybody, this is TGA, and we're back once again with a video in Wales, glad to do an audit in terra firma for the first time in a while, and many of you might think differently, but I'd say I owned them. I always try to remain polite however, as it does no one any favours to go around throwing insults and things like that, auditors need to look better than police and government employees, not worse.

The hypocrisy is off the scale on this one. How can they tell a member of the public that it’s polite to ask permission before recording someone, while they stand there with a body cam recording someone without permission? That is absurd even before taking into account the fact that police & PCSOs have a duty to inform people they’re recording, unlike the public. Why is it so hard to find a PCSO with a designation card when possession of one is a requirement of their role?

On the no designation card/warrant card. I'm looking forward to an auditor who immediately calls 999 and says you have a fake police officer.
Another one, the RTA section 165.
Someone says to the officer. Produce you warrant card. They produce it for one second, pocket it. I'd like to examine it? No they say.
So you "produce" your driving license, insurance, MOT, and flash it for 2 seconds.
      Job done.
What are the police going to do?
You clearly state, I ask you to produce your warant card. You did so by flashing it for one second.
I've done the same, and I've shown it to you for more than 2 seconds.
As you have stated, producing your warrant card doesn't mean handing it over for inspection. Producing my documents doesn't mean handing it over to you as you have stated.
      Am I free to leave?

You should ask them for names and badge numbers straight away. What their rank is. Which station they are from. Ask to see their designation card or ID depending on PCSO or constable etc.
Ask if you are being detained. If you are, ask for what crime.
Ask if they are recording. If they are, make it clear you will be requesting the footage, and tell them not to delete it.
Then after all of that start answering their questions if you want.
If they are detaining you because they suspect you of a crime… ask what section. Then invoke your right for legal representation. Request legal counsel and tell them you will not answer their questions as your under the threat of arrest.

Not sure of the UK law, but my guess would be that if a government body rents a premises from a private land owner then it is treated as public property as long as they(the g'ment body) hold the lease

@@UA-camFundedBySorros101 the interesting part is the reaction from the probation staff, who seem to want to operate in the shadows despite being public servants. We have a right to film public servants/officials in the UK, for transparancy/anti-corruption reasons. Also if its not interesting to you, why are you here watching it and commenting on it?

Thought the PCSO’s did a fine job really, lacking designation card and failure to announce filming aside. They’re role is community based so acting on behalf of the locals, they asked politely and wanted to know more about the situation so they could arrive at a solution. I like it.
