At 68 we got our dream house in the country. Everything is easy due to all my wifes hard work. Last night someone dumped off two kittens that found their way to our back porch where we sit. Crying and eating cornbread the wife threw out for the birds, the wife adopted them and fed them tuna. So now we have two cats in the yard. I never thought after all these years that would be me. Been in love 61 years and married 48.

This song reminds me of my father. These are the kind of songs he used to play every morning when we were kids and now that I have my own kids, these are the songs I am singing. And also because it helps me remember my Papa who died 2 years ago. This is one of the songs that makes me feel he is just right there singing with me. Classic is GOLD.

How can Graham still sound so good? Because he's a pro, that's why. And he took good care of himself. He's also probably the one person who could play their own song at this concert and have it fit in so perfect. Listening to it now as I type, I can only marvel that his vocal quality actually *improves* as he goes along. Must say, he makes a good piano accompanist to the audience :)

Here it was not easy to get the original records so I still cherish like a treasure my albums For Certain Because, Evolution and Butterly. I am 12 years younger than you. Let me tell you that for me Evolution is one of the best albums ever, specially because of your contribution. And I have always loved the singles King Midas in Reverse and Open Up Your Eyes. Just a little story about how is to be the "soundtrack of our lives". I was a kid trying to make out with my first girlfriend while playing chess in the living room with her parents in the dining room. We both liked the song The Games We play from Evolution and played it on an on. We were living exactly those lyrics. I also have the solo records. Since Songs for Beginners to This Path Tonight. There is something timeless and inspiring in your music that I enjoy a lot. Keep well dear master.

I just got off a chat with graham, our parents were close friends back in his salford days, mum babysat him and his parents babysat my sister.
I ended up in grahams old stroller when I was a baby too. Thats how it was back then, we had nothing.
Trust me, our houses had no garden with cats, it was all cobble stone streets, slate roofs and , well pretty much a humble slum. He stayed humble, true to his roots.
