    Lovely products as usual and I especially like seeing the addition of home goods, books, spices etc... The year of 2024 for me is going to be one of using up products, creams, lotions and makeup. One also realizes at the age of 69 that you accumulate lots of stuff you don't actually need and your grown children don't want. I'm also trying not to be readily influenced by people on You Tube. I've been watching you since the single, Boston apt. days and enjoy how you describe and explain products. So if I'm looking to buy skincare I do look to your channel for knowledge and guidance. Hope your enjoying your new home and maybe give us a glimpse of the kitchen.

      This was SUCH a nice comment to read, so thank you! I’m touched you’ve been here so long 😌 I’ve been using up a lot of skincare as well, and maybe ought to commit to a project pan too. I’ve been much more interested in all the beyond beauty stuff in recent years. Things in beauty can get quite repetitive and dull…we always thinks it’s something new and shiny but it takes a lot for any product to stand out.

    This was so entertaining! The plan this week is to clean out , organize and give away. Then, I shop,l lol. You've inspired me to re-stock my pantry w/ some quality oils and spices. I'll also stop in at Marie's shop because I definitely need some new candles. Happy New Year! xo Cheryl

      Always such a pleasure to hear from you! I'm so glad you enjoyed :) The olive oil is absolute heaven. I usually put together some kind of snack boards for my fam most afternoons and I've been just adding a ramekin of the oil for dipping bread and it is loved by all. The mushroom powder is also a total leveling up for soups and stews.

    Welcome 2024! Excited to see this video drop. Hopefully you are able to film an updated fragrance video, funny enough I recently rewatched your video from ages ago. I’ve been looking to revive my fragrance collection.

      Happy New Year! Fragrance is a priority video for me for sure. I’m just getting back into it so there’s plenty to discuss and show.

      I appreciate that! This is just a reflection of my life and interests. So much content is now overly saturated with affiliate marketing, it’s hard to find people just…being themselves 😅

    Happy 2024! 💞 I'm definitely going to look into that olive oil for when I need to replenish. That utensil holder is beautiful! Long live any nail polish shade resembling our OG favorite Revlon Vixen! The color of your office looks lovely (more visible in this vid than the lives).

      Happy New Year my friend! Bona Furtuna is exceptional, we’ve tried everything except the passata and it’s all AMAZING.

    Happy new year! Congratulations on the house. Can you explain the difference between the lepaar product and something like the Earthwise veil. (Which I have stockpiled and am hoarding 😢)

    • @lamouretlamusique
      @lamouretlamusique  8 місяців тому +1

      Ok so Lepaar Day Silk v. Earthwise Farizad's veil. They accomplish the same thing, but I just love that I can pump out 3-4 pumps of the Day Silk and that's IT. That's my AM skincare. It's a gorgeous silky hydrating texture, it's the AM equivalent of the Zen Matcha Cashmere from Lepaar which I also adore. Farizad's Veil is nice bc it's customizable, you choose your mixing medium, but it takes a little more time and can be prone to white cast depending on what you mix it in to. But, another great product for sure.

    Happy New Year and I hope you're all settled in your new home! I love random Mercedes hauls! Have some of these on my wish list already-
    1) A consultation with Haut (because I don't understand her colors and formula, she seems like a lovely person by the way).
    2) These candles seem lovely, non toxic is a must when it comes to candles
    3) Furtuna's olive oil...I'm also going through an Italy moment lol...Wondering if you've tried their skin care brand too, I listened to a podcast with the founder and they appear to really know formulations and sourcing! I haven't tried them yet but I'll dive in with the mini products :)

    • @lamouretlamusique
      @lamouretlamusique  8 місяців тому +1

      Ok so I just looked this up and the only thing I found was Furtuna skin…they’re connected, these two companies? I know the mlm company Oliveda is popularizing olive oil skincare right now but I’m not about it…(the company, the olive oil I’m all about).

    I didn’t know and the color green had a shop! Definitely checking out. I also use ancient minerals. I always throw in a handful in my detox baths. And I have to say, getting beauty and food was a real treat. All my faves in one.

      Yes, her Etsy shop is so lovely. The candles are just perfect and I love supporting her. It's detox bath season! Have you tried the Ayla Seaweed soak? It's a splurge but wow. Really good.

    So glad to see you exploring gemmotherapy! Lauren Hubele has a wonderful podcast series called GEMMO MEMOs that I’ve learned a lot from - when to use, how much to use, who to use it for - she’s really a pioneer in microdosing as well. Anyhow, enjoy all the new and fun goodies! :)

    • @lamouretlamusique
      @lamouretlamusique  8 місяців тому

      I found her podcast last week! Such a wonderful treasure trove. I'll be working through these when I'm cleaning up the kitchen at night. I had no idea she also worked with microdosing. That's something I'm less enthusiastic about, but I'd be open to hear her thoughts.

    Girrrrrllllll. I’ve been hating HA for yearsssss. It’s in everything and sucks the moisture out of you like Walmart takes away your soul. Lol
    New demamiel is sporting glycerin first and then HAs???? Maybe that will be good?
    (HA, it’s a joke it works😂)
    I used to be Mandy kwon on here… changed my name, forgot about you, glad you’re doing well and still making videos. 🙂❤️

    This is one incredible haul! You look beautiful as usual, and I am happy to see you back. 🥰 What are you wearing as eyeliner? Coincidentally, I recently discovered Elliot Homestead as well and feel the same way. I also love Italian cuisine, I mean what is not to love, right? Italy is such a beautiful country, including its cuisine. Like you, I also grew up eating organ meats, as they are both delicious and nutritious. What books do you recommend for learning homeopathy?

    • @lamouretlamusique
      @lamouretlamusique  8 місяців тому +1

      Thank you so much for the nice words! I think this is Zuzu luxe liquid liner in raven, and old favorite! For homeopathy, I mostly use online resources but I have some Miranda Castro books which are beginner friendly, and of course the Banerji protocols book. Whole podcast episode on Patreon about homeopathy and list of resources there which is extensive.

    I get privacy is an issue on the internet. Would you ever do a before and after Reno overview?

    • @lamouretlamusique
      @lamouretlamusique  8 місяців тому +1

      All my reno content is on Patreon, a ton of organized Ig stories on the private account and I’m going a “reveal” video imminently, probably filming that next week. I definitely need that buffer as I won’t ever put any aspect of my home out for public consumption. It’s so strange that that is now considered normal!
