I really enjoyed our discussions, Stephanie. I plan to be among the Taurians Friday. I hope you all have a great week and happy thanksgiving. Cheers, Jack
Hi Jack ! Coming to this great video of yours because my “pal” Dante mentions Iphigenia and Agamemnon in canto 5 (v. 69) of Paradiso, within Beatrice’s monologue about the importance of vows. Agamemnon’s is quoted as an example of a “dumb” vow that should not have been made. Your knowledge of Ancient Greek history is impressive, btw!
Great review. It was such a fun buddy read. Look forward to your review of Iphigenia Among the Taurians. I have the Kagan book on my TBR.
