Revelation chapter 13 leaves a lot to interpretation, and you're probably familiar with the more traditional one, in which the beast and the false prophet arise from a revived Roman empire. However, another possibility exists! Pastor Steve details the passages in the book of Daniel and the book of Revelation that seem to hint at the "beast system" of the tribulation being a revived Islamic Caliphate and makes a fascinating argument that the legs of iron in Daniel chapter 2 are not the Roman empire after all.

So happy to have found this video. Three days ago, totally unexpectedly when sitting in a bus, a thought hit me: what if the first beast in Revelation 13 were Islam? I reread the chapter and tried to understand what it said if this assumption were true.
And especially verse 7 humbled me a lot and made me cry out to the Lord. Watching your video now, makes so much sense. Thank you for explaining so well. Thank you Lord for showing us the truth and helping us to position ourselves at a time like this. In Jesus Name. Amen.
