I have always been fascinated by the time period that this expedition took place and this is a game I would really like to have. Thanks for the Runthrough. :)
We tried this game last night, and it's BRILLIANT, we loved it so much, but the rulebook wasnt't too clear, so we really greatful your enjoyable and useful video. You helped us a lot :)
Great to see you like the game :) I ve been working for Ludonaute the 4 days of Essen, and I would have been glad to have a few words with you, as I really like you videos :) Maybe next year in Essen ;)
going to the store tommorow to get it (orderd it). In whole off belgium i think this is the only store that has it to my surprise ( now they have only 3 versions left), cause normally it was out off print and they would get it next year march or so.
just curious... on Jen's first recruitment, you paid 2 equipment and one pelt. But the cost initially was described as One equipment and One pelt for the bottom space. Does the second person recruiting have to pay more than first player?
i've got the first edition printing, and they were a bonus promo item for that (which you can get from the boardgamegeek store). the game is in its 2nd printing now, and i'm not sure if they're still a bonus or standard... i know the box size changed, but beyond that, not sure...
HI .. i just got my copy of the game but my game doe not have the game card steps .. and the rule book doesn't say nothing about it ... i see you have one??? and i don't ??? where can i get my card from
the board is not all that useful really when you come to think of it, it could almost be just a card game. But anyway, i bought it recently and i love it. Great theme.
So a rules clarification please. If you play your Indian on the board and Jen takes it, What happens when you camp? Do you get an Indian out of the supply to head to your bored are you do you just not end up with an Indian at all? For the turn at least.
hi there, sorry to say it's been a few years since i played the game, so i don't really remember. but you can definitely get an answer to the question if you post about it here: www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/140620/lewis-clark/forums/66 (hehe, i just went to get you that link, and found you've already posted there!) :)
Years??? No, you JUST played it on UA-cam!!! Lol. I posted the question on their too and it’s been answered. Love your videos and enjoy watching them for games I don’t even own!

Dang it Rahdo...because of this video, I just bought it. Impulse self shopping at wrong time of year.
I won my first solo game so I had to come here and figure out what I did wrong.
A lot of things were wrong (both for and against me).
I have just got this game secondhand. I own and played the other one, journals, which is very nice game.
it was around 6pm local when i posted this :)
You're an awesome teacher.
Good work Richard. I've picked up a copy and get a great head-start from your film. Best wishes, Rick
My treasure of Essen '13 after Steam Park....gorgeous in every way!
There is some errors in rules of czech version of this game, so this playthrough clear out all misunderstandings. thank you Rahdo.
I use little ship meeples for the river travel. Looks more thamatic that way imo.

I just stumbled onto this very nice gameplay. L&C looks like a game I would enjoy. Thanks! - toby

It's beautiful, but I wish the river were larger and better marked, and the camp could easily be smaller.
Seaman the dog. It's like an episode of Pugwash.

oh.. or is the equipment cost of recruitment dictated by the 'power' of the card? never mind... :)
you've got it! :)
Hi. Are the Stickers on the Resources Standard? Or did you apply them?

man..i got this game few days ago
so hard to explain to my friends lol
that's very strange. maybe try a different browser? youtube weirdness!
How do find what all of the symbols on the character cards mean?? The rule book gives no explanation at all!
? the rules are pretty thorough. which symbols do you mean?
I think he means the symbol on the top right of a character card.
HI .. i just got my copy of the game but my game doe not have the game card steps .. and the rule book doesn't say nothing about it ... i see you have one??? and i don't ??? where can i get my card from
hmm, maybe contact the publisher? they should be able to help you out: www.ludonaute.fr/ or www.asmodee.com/ depending on which version you got :)

This is a game? Wow
Now it works. You tube strangeness!
Mhhh.. Can't see anything. Here only your voice. Still nice. :-) Is something wrong with the video?
Am I the only one who misread this, and thought the game was about Superman?
Bro you can't just skip over the structure of the game ....
Honestly you move the camera in and out too much that gave me a headache when watching half-way
these days i do static camera versions of all my videos as well
anyway thanks for the video. It does help me understand the rule.
Unwatchably bad shaky vomit camera.
