The electronic RIO defeat shown in my video didn't hold up (shown around the 5:00min mark). Computer didn't end up liking it and would shut off the PTO after using it under load for a minute or two. Looks like I'll be doing the mechanical defeat this weekend!
I thought about a Curtis cab for a long time. I just couldn't justify it. I was able to sell my X758 for what I had into it. The added functionality of the 2025r is a game changer for me. Still love the X700 platform.
@@johndenver8574 I've got big plans for it. I released another video this morning as it gets ready for winter and another video drops Friday. Friday is going to be BIG!
Great vid, I want to add a rear fender remote PTO switch on my 2025R. I run a chipper and ph digger, feel like I lose control with seat pto engage setup
These tractors like the 1025R John Deere and up as as Kubota BX as I have are much more versatile sort of like a Swiss Army knife ! Service regular and use quality fluids and filters from the dealer brand and it should last a lifetime ! Those diesel units just sip fuel unlike the gas burners ! Enjoy and have a Blessed Day 🇺🇸
I believe that safety for backing up is just another thing where someone does something like not paying attention, and the powers to be make the rest of us pay for it. But don’t get me started on government interference and regulations. But very nice tractor.
Thanks for the comment...I agree. We need less of that kind of nonsense and more accountability. It has some new stuff on it to help it get ready for winter. New video early this week!
thats like my buddys construction company by passed the back up alarm and dis connected the safety switch on all dozers, and all machinery and dump trucks
Just don't make a mistake and buy a MTD machine.. as you know they have three different labels Cub cadet.. Troy-Bilt... Craftsman... Stay away from them
@@timr31908 I've owned 3 John Deere tractors in my lifetime so far. Don't see a reason to change that up. I have not heard good things about MTD either. No thank you
@@SavageNFS right to repair... Need I say more... If John deere had their way you would have to take your tractor to them for everything including oil changes... everytime... They want to seal the hood so there is no servicing by non licensed individuals (including private owners) or shops

Have a 20 year old X595 and a 9 year old 1025R TLB, both bought new. The X595 is for the 62in convertible deck, the 54in snowblower, and the 45 loader. It has been essentially flawless during those 20 years. The 1025R is for the backhoe, the bucket and the aftermarket forks. IMHO, the 1025R is no where near the build quality or durability of the X595. Little issues like transmission leaks, electrical issues, etc. Maybe the X7?? series is the same level of quality as the 1025R, so your “Don’t get an X series” may be valid for new models.

Their is a Curtis cab for this with everything you talked about. I have one now for my x700 series. It's awesome. Heat works great.

Not sure why anyone would get an x series tractor and not move up to a 1023, 1025 or the 2025.
Size probably they’re a little smaller and nimbler
might not have big enough property to get the 1025 or bigger.
