I do not have an atmos system but I am getting excellent 5.1 surround with this video. I do have to turn it up a little bit louder though, and when the UA-cam commercial comes on, it is three times louder than the music.
I'm using a JBL Live 770NC. The panning can certainly be appreciated with the headphones; it's like the sound is passing in and out through my head and at times delightfully intersecting.
My TV is connected to the AVR via optical output. My AVR supports 5.1. In this case, I cannot hear 5.1 channel sound. But I play Dolby digital on broadcasts such as Netflix.
You can confirm IT If you have Headphones with spartial audio Support by disableing and reenableing spartial audio. If its 5.1 the Sound stops and Sounds different without spartial audio enabled and this Video has 5.1 for Sure also works with headtracking of the Sound different Sound sources on my Headphones
UA-cam DOES support 5.1 but only if it uploaded properly with the right EC-3 (328) Codec. Check out the video settings and look for Stats for nerds. You should also see a 5.1 Surround option. My AVR receiver displays Dolby with the EC-3 (328) 5.1 uploads but only PCM with the other opus (251) codecs. Also, make sure your AVR is running 2-channel, 5-channel, or 7-channel Stereo as that will also disable the 5.1 and mix it into 2 channel stereo out of all your speakers.
I cant Tell how it works but it does. May Videos Just have 5.1 in the title but only some are true 5.1 Like this one. I can Always confirm by disableing and reenableing spartial audio on my Headphones settings If it has to Stop and rebuffer then its 5.1 If it keeps playing then its Just stereo

@@jonawa1573 You can also just look in the stats for nerds, if the codec 328 ec-3 is displayed there, then it is Dolby Digital Plus 5.1
@@jonawa1573 stats for nerds=328 ec-3
I'm confused how this would work, since youtube doesn't support this format

@MikeSowsun Thanks for the info, my concern was it doesn't support atmos. This being an atmos video. It's not going to playback in atmos on UA-cam
@@kojak362010You are right. Atmos isn’t supported but 5.1 is.

@@kojak362010weird because Dolby on their own UA-cam channel showing atmos for headphones.
Are you telling Dolby they’re wrong?
Is it just my setup or is the audio level extremely low?
UA-cam use low audio leveling process i dont no why.
Now I got another reason to get the Dolby Atmos ready blue tooth system
I have to turn it up but the UA-cam commercials are really loud compared to the music. I do get pretty nice 5.1 surround sound though.
My computer is connected to the AVR via optical output. My AVR device supports 5.1. But I hear the sound as PCM stereo. Is there a solution to this?
Try to connect hdmi, more codec and format available. What avr use?
Hope you would provide 11.2 audio video clips in the future.
I ready for it! 😎
This is funny.
Can you please share the original file with dolby atmos on google drive and provide the link
This is not Dolby Atmos, this is regular 5.1.
