Sick bro 🤘, any tips for gaining confidence for those bigger gap jumps? I always ride up to them and they scare me off

Thanks! I’ve only just started doing gaps like these, you just have to go for it, casing isn’t the worst thing that can happen on a bike! The three rollers before are really abrupt though, if they make you lift off you’re going too slow. Pump them hard so you don’t lift, don’t brake, that’s the right speed. You don’t have to pop much on the first either. If you’re worried you can brake between the step up and step down on a dirt jump bike. The one thing I would say is try not to ride on a mountain bike with knobbly tires (dirt jump or bmx preferably) and try not to excessively brake/case stuff. The builders worked really hard to make it very smooth so it works well. It’s actually much more predictable than the hip line though, I find it easier!

@@HopkinsBros thanks for the advice ! I'm running kenda small block eight tires on my jump bike, so they ain't gonna be a problem, I know once I get it the first time it will be smooth sailing afterwards, I'm only scared of casing because I dont really want to destroy a brand new bike within the first month of having it :) again thanks for the advice! Hope to see you down there one day :)

@@alanrogula896 I don’t think you’ll case, just chill off the first. If I pop I go way too high and overshoot it! The dirt jump bikes are designed to take it though, you’ll absorb some of the impact with your body 😂. Don’t think you’ll break it. Yes, we’re having some good weather coming so I’ll probably be up there one evening! Might see you up there
