Wow, that stomp on that thick non isolated wood floor that is a very atmospheric part of the music, it let the soul and spirit of the music hypnotize you and fill your body with the lust for dancing, that rythm of the natures magic,
thats the part thats so much missing many times it has to be experienced atleast once to know how much this is a music for the whole body and soul, it makes the music really comes alive, for me it's a part of the music, without it and only the instruments it's something missing.

considering how young Shalström looks in the fotage and how the narrator speaks about the music I would think that this was recorded sometime in the 60's, just before the folk music boom of the 70's most of it is from different places in Dalarna, Sweden (to be more specific, Boda, Orsa and Älvdalen) and the nyckelharpa part is probably from Tobo in Uppland, Sweden

The dance is polska, in this case polska from the village Boda, in Rättvik, Dalecarlia. The tune is Klabblaten, originally played when they served Klabbe, a traditonal dish from Rättvik. I guess there are other slower recordings on UA-cam with this tune.
