For the very first episode of this podcast, I sat down with the President and CEO of Smart Communications and Chief Revenue Officer of PLDT, my good friend, Al Panlilio. In addition to his big day-job, Al is the President of SBP, a basketball association in the Philippines. He is also an elected member of Philippines Olympic Committee. I have known Al for over a decade and beyond his impressive resume, what I admire the most about him is that he is humble and authentic.
In this episode, he shares how he found his North Star for the company and his vision for 2030. But we start the conversation talking about a time in his twenties when he bought a popcorn machine and tried making a living selling popcorn. Enjoy!
