How much can seagras field make sugar? Artificial fields are potential help? Id love to know can u grow seagras in controlled inviromen to produce sugar to sell?

If land grass can die because of over-watering, why do sea grass survives despite living 24 hrs underwater? Does it have any special mechanism?
