You went ham on that take no damage challenge. I ran around scared and had Atreus shoot arrows until I could single one out or go in with runics. You've got a really good handle on the combat mechanics. It's very entertaining to watch.
Ive been stuck on that one for days. It's the Ice dude that I cant get passed. Atreus arrows do no damage to it. I'm gonna try one last time thanks to this video. Gonna try to go in with a full rage meter and hurl the rocks at it. For some reason I forgot all about that skill.
@@ItsSauIGoodman It is one of the harder ones. I've pulled it off once but after beating all of them, I usually just do 2, 3 and 5 to unlock the final challenge to farm the upgrade materials.
You'd need at least one enchantment slot for the full dodge enchantment. After that, it's doable. You just have to dodge and not get greedy.. two or three hits max before going back on the defense.
Amaing, Kratos and Atreus are work together to survive from all impossible trials. They really strong and fully max out. 5:55 Push off the cliff with his special moves.

I enjoy gameplay like this much more than for example Game Breaker God's videos. It feels more like how the game is supposed to be played, and you can still follow what's going on. It's impressive combat without using countless simultaneous glitches that allow you to perform multiple attacks at once or cancel your runics etc. Don't get me wrong, players who master that stuff are still extremely impressive and fun to watch, but this just a bit more entertaining for me

My absolute favorite axe pommel is hands down sutur pommel. Keep the luck high and I just kill anything quickly without having to worry about using runic. Is best used with the blessing of the frost too for that added destruction.
Darrell only armor pieces that give luck stats is tyrs armor set , brok and sindri armor set. Long as you are over 50 you should be more then good to trigger the pommel. Can always wear what you like thou and just make sure you add luck boosting enchantments to the armor you like.

My favorite was either the 100 enemies challenge or the regeneration challenge. Worst one "don't get hit" or "kill in the circle", I lost count of how many times I restarted because I mistimed a swing or Kratos didn't feel like blocking. Going to start an NG+ now that I've finished the story once, NOT looking forward to fighting even more difficult Wulver though, they had me bashing my head against a wall, so frustrating to fight...
The way you killed that Soul Devourer in the first trial was mad. I've got the Platinum trophy but you keep showing me how to improve my gameplay. Would you consider playing The Witcher III on Death March difficulty? It seems like you're a glutton for punishment. 😂
My God he completed the ring trial. He was just standing in the center of 5 draugr just toying with them. Idk how he takes so little damage and does so much damage. Cant wait to finish the video and possibly see his gear
I just hope the new game has all the moves unlocked at the beginning of the game for leviathan, the blades, and the guardian shield and what u have to really upgrade are new weapons and atreus’ moves would be dope. As if it’s just continuing the journey from GoW4

I was on a roll in GMGOW until I went back to do these trials. Is that armor set you are using that much more powerful than the Valkyrie or Sindri sets? I don’t feel like I ever did that much damage with each hit on this difficulty.
The abilities on Valkyrie and Sindri sets are the best in the game. Smoldering brimstone set does more damage with regular attacks because of high strength. You could mix them up but I think Valkyrie set is the way to go, maybe add some strength enchantments to the set.
SmvR yeah, I switched out a couple enchantments I had for strength based ones. Used my blades more for trial 2 per your video. Much better result. One kill away from knocking out trial 3 also. Thanks for posting!!
I seriously wish this game have loadout system so I don't want to switch enhancements around with armor sure it's not confusing as people made it out to be but it's pretty quite annoying nonetheless
It's confusing if you make it confusing. When selecting enchantments, forget about the abilities, only focus on the rarity (epic, legendary) and the stat it boosts (runic, cooldown etc.)
That's not fair 😫. I completed it on normal and then was like: ,,I ain't no done, I want to do it again on give me a challenge difficulty and get the muspelheim armors..." And then yesterday I realized that it's impossible to do the ,,survive for 5 minutes" with level 3 gear because it spawns level 5 guys 🙈😆😅

Question.....how do you get the blades of chaos? I just started playing this game and. I have yet to find them so that I can use them on Trial 5. I'm stuck on that level and every video I watch on that trial, kratos always has the blades. What am I missing????
Okay, after the fight against magni and modi, that BOI gets sick. Then you go to freya snd she ask you to go to helheim but you need something else cuz the axe is worthless down there. You go Krato's home to get the blades. Sorry if I miss anything :) cheers mate.
Freeassassin12 There's two. Amulet of Kvasir as used in the video which is a Rare talisman upgradable to lvl 6. And the other being Talisman of the Realms which is a Legendary ( I guess ) max lvl 8.
Actually he is not playing in God of war difficulty because in 9:32 kratos got bitten by wolf, the life was reduced only small amount, if he is playing such difficulty mode means the attacked damage should reduce atleast 60%… Anyways the player cheated us that he is in God of war difficulty
These trials never get boring. The combat is such a great thing in this game.
I look for games with similar combat and there's none. I tried Hellblade but it's more artsy.

The sprinting Wulver is a nightmare. Once you learn the dodge/parry times you can kill them with ease. Gl with NG+!

Regenerating trial was a grind.Even with hitting them till the R3 display doesn't kill them
and if you save just before opening the chest, you can retry and get up to 3 Greater Crest of Flames in trials 1, 2 and 3.

You need to take the head of Mimir to Freya if I remember correctly. Leave Muspelheim and progress through the story

Dodging in this game is so hard. I mean last second dodge because it takes literally a full second for kratos to move after pressing x.
Maybe you need to check the input lag of your tv.
