That colour of yellow looks fabulous on the door!! I'm not actually a huge fan of yellow, but that definitely goes perfectly with the gold hardware, like you mentioned. A very nice sunny pop of colour at the bottom of the stairway!! Love it!!
Couple of ideas for the heat! Two fans in your dining room, facing out from the left corner near the closet and one coming in from the living room will make a big difference in circulating the air conditioning air. If you can figure out a way to open the window in your stairwell that would also help with cross ventilation! There must be some kind of long handled opener for windows that are high up.
You can hang thermal curtains in the doorway between your living room and dining room- will help keep the air on in. Your place looks fabulous!! I love that you’ve done it all yourself

White Collar on Netflix is so good! It's all about crime, but white collar crime (as the name suggests) as opposed to gory stuff, and the characters are so incredible! The storylines are amazing, I highly recommend it :)

Did he time travel, or is all of this in his head, whilst he is in a coma in 2006? Brilliantly done, the 1970s bits really do feel like it's been filmed back then, gives a properly nice vintage feel to it, and it's so interesting to see how the mentalities we're back then and how the police force was, and to see the 2006 DCI guy try to make sense of it all and adapt to his new life back in time. Also great soundtrack with lots of 70s classics and Bowie hits. There is a sequel to this show called Ashes to Ashes, equally as brilliant. Finished the first series in less than a week, and I'm almost finished with the sequel. Not sure what I'll do with myself once I've finished it all, love it so so much!
