I always change all my coils and save the old ones to use when one or 2 coils go bad. Good luck. Remember if it's not the coils, check spark plugs if not fuel injector. Keep positive. 💯🫡
👈No doghouse on my Nissan nv3500 cargo van . Engine’s up front under the hood like Ford and GM did with their so called ‘panel truck ‘vans back in the 50s . Your van looks like it’s doing pretty good with the new addition . Amazing campsite ! 👍
Whoever wrote the code for the Ford Modular V8s of that vintage needs to have their head examined. It requires a ridiculous amount of "miss-fires" before the code will set
I remember last winter when it was acting up that it would take a long time for the check engine light to come on - even when it was clearly misfiring.
The Prius is still going well. We were actually driving it today for errands. This trouble happened only about two hours from our home base so had not brought the car. All of my sons work here in town and drive big trucks and trailers so they area always willing to rescue us if we are reasonably close. We do plan to take both the Prius and the van to the desert after Christmas though. It is nice for peace of mind to have a second vehicle on those longer trips just in case we have any trouble on the road.
It won’t be a coil it probly plugs they need to be done every 100,000 max. But to do the plugs it is a job. It takes me 4 hrs usually 🇨🇦🛠️🇨🇦🛠️don’t put coil in it till you know what the plugs are like. Just sayn
Your van is rebelling over the high high top you put on. Lol
I heard recently to change the spark plug when you change the coil because a bad plug can ruin a coil.

Bet it's VERY quite out there
Beautiful country.. so sorry about the motor problems but glad you can fix it!
Sweet spot! Looks great for some kiteboarding!
I'm so sorry you two ran into snags like this. Hopefully, no more snags and back to happy camping, happy travels.
Nice photos and I really like all the animal prints. It looks serene.
Wow..that is a beautiful spot for sure ! Hopefully you got the van figured out 😁👍

No bikini? It`s such a nice spot. I am curious what happened to the Prius.

Look at the miss fire counts if you can Robert
I really DON'T like those individual coils

Robert. Was the coil pluged in tight. Or the fuel injector not plugged in tight. If clips are broken
