Have to say that normally I preferred Sonny Bill Williams. But I can't deny that Nonu set the standard for the number 12 jersey and was everything the All Blacks needed him to be. I also appreciated the subtlety he added to his game, particularly towards the end of his career, which wasn't on display here. Most will remember him as a bruising, direct runner who improved the options of his First Five by being such a threat, but he started adding in small and accurate kicks in which gave him another dimension and kept defenders on the back foot. A really brilliant player.
