I read a draft of "Charlie Wilson's War" by Aaron Sorkin and the whole first page had (Russian, subtitled) for every line of dialog.

thank you for this... for some time I was told to not use them. That using this was also lazy but you put it into perspective.

Love the ellipsis option! PRO TIP: holding ALT and pressing 0133 on the keyboard will give you at actual ascii code for a proper (and more economic) ellipsis.
Check out the difference (it's more obvious in courier 😅):
    Oh...
    Oh…

I was starting to miss being bashed by how you...mmm... lay the naked truth, yep, that! Guess I have enough work until the next episode. Cheers!

I differ on the overdirecting thingy. Sure, you can go too far. But usually, you write stuff that CANNOT be directed. So first you have to check that. Then, once you figure it out, why not communicate it? You are writing a script, not a riddle, and any competent reader might question the feasibility of the scene and not have the time or the ability to resolve it. So do include direction in your script, you're just being helpful.

Wow, you must be the father or older brother of another UA-camr, the slappable jerk. The similarity... I'm writing novels and just discovered your channel. I will explore further, we all need to master the art of dialogue, novelists as much as screenwriters.
