Hahah you mean no shitty minimal from 2006-2013 era?? Tracks that he is producing at the moment have waaay more groove than tracks he produced before in my opinion..
His first tracks were definitely more hypnotic and more atmospheric. They had a sound design element to them. His recent work is a lot simpler and harder if you may, has less layers and misses those magic touches. But that's how music evolved in the past 5 years or so, stripping away the magic in favour of more immediate effect. We're consuming everything at a much faster rate, including music, so it's normal that what we produce to be less rich in flavour, have no after taste, but is more sweet and yummy when consumed.
