I would never take Botox if not necessary. I saw people getting those injections and it made my stomach turn around. It looks very painful. I prefer the wrinkles.
I am considering botox to relieve muscle tension. I am clenching my teeth severely, night guards don't help much. I wake up with a stiff neck and headaches pretty much every day. Adding face muscle twitches (mainly eye lids or cheeks) to it, that would last for days, makes me want to ask somebody to poke my face with needles with or without botox in them.
I have friends who've received injections for migraines and Bell's palsy. But however much my "eleven" pains me, cosmetic Botox seems ridiculous. Aging is good! What a gift to grow old and see your grandchildren. Still, we should wear sunscreen - cancer and all that. ;)
I just spent $500 to get tattooed eyebrows. There's no way that I'm gonna spend hundreds more dollars to make it so that I can't move them! I have pretty great eyebrow game and I'm not giving that up even if it means I will have wrinkles in my forehead. 😂😂😂 Other parts, however... maybe!
Does anyone know why Botox causes melasma in some people? My aunt gets it done and sometimes it looks like she has a mustache. Also one of my doctors gets Botox and usually has a big brown patch on her forehead.
