Wow what a wonderful idea Justine I never had a pie like this. looks delicious thanks my lovely friend your simply the best in my opinion my friend. 🙂🙂🙂
Kind of like seven layer bars I guess, my grandmother used to make them and I always really liked them. I'm not much for pie crust though so not sure i would like it like this.🤔
No way would I ever mix ingredients AFTER I put them into the pie shell....that's just idiotic. Also, ALL this is, is just magic cookie bars in pie form.
I know in a pecan pie recipe you’re supposed to use karo syrup. So I wonder if the sweetened cond milk is something like that. And I’ve made the same mistake by not waiting for the pie to cool so it can set. But who can wait when you want to taste it? Lol 😋
Justine does just fine. Apparently you're experienced baker, did you have to learn what to do? Give these young ones time to learn, they are just fine.
One slice of this pie: 2,000 calories, to say the least. What are those things that look like chickpeas??? Why mixing crackers and pretzels? Where does this pie come from?????
@marzianecci306 the things that you think look like chickpeas are little pieces of caramel which will melt as the pie cooks. She added the crackers & pretzels for a bit of a salty taste to offset the sweet caramel & chocolate.
Not really. Mixing in a pie crust you have to be very careful not to break the crust. Mixing in a bowl allows you to mix vigorously and mix it properly.
Looks great, but a bit messy. An egg might help with that. Going to try one but with a few twists of my own. Thanks Justine, love your ideas and how easy you make things happen.
You know who was at st Mary hospital with me ? When the tumor was found. Chris. Living me. And playing full their gloves with water. Then Steve rushed to get him. Why I don’t know. 🤷. Leave us better than you found us. 🗣️❓🚔🏩. Nobody who cares. Forgets. And nobody is going to forget. Their son. Or mother.
Soggy bottom due to the condensed milk put directly on to the crust.
I think I would mix everything in a bowl and transfer to pie crust. Look delicious
I came here to say that.
I agree but I guess less things to wash lol 🤷🏻♀️
@@CoffeeMakesMeHappy3 She probably has a dishwasher in that nice kitchen, anyway.
Yeah me too!
Yes I thought the same, mix all together and pour into pie crust.
Knowing me I’d mess up the bottom of the crust lol
Easier to mix first and then put in the crust.
Justine, try mixing your ingredients in a bowl and pour them in so you don’t tear your pie crust. I think an egg would’ve helped hold it together.
Any experienced baker would mix that quickly and thoroughly in a big bowl rather than trying to gingerly stir it together while in the crust.
She is definitely not experienced
She certainly knows how to make baking hard work.
@@kims1941 I agree it takes 30 seconds just mix and pour in the crust. Plus if you mix it in a bowl first you make sure it’s thoroughly mixed
Don’t listen to any negative comments, you’re Awesome!
@mustangsallysue She'll never learn if she doesn't use tips from more experienced bakers.
This reminds me of the 7 layer bars
Exactly. Seven layer bars/magic cookie bars/this dessert...all yummy with the same ingredients. I guess it's just preference to individual bakers ❤
Why not mix it all up before putting it in the crust??
Yeah, better to mix in bowl first.
My mom used to make cookies are bars like this. I already know I love it and it looks easier
Wow what a wonderful idea Justine I never had a pie like this. looks delicious thanks my lovely friend your simply the best in my opinion my friend. 🙂🙂🙂
I'd chopped the nuts and pretzels to smaller pieces.
I'm only here for the comments
And they don't disappoint. 😅
Kind of like seven layer bars I guess, my grandmother used to make them and I always really liked them. I'm not much for pie crust though so not sure i would like it like this.🤔
I would have thawed the crust first and par baked it for 5-10 minutes, let it cool then add the filling you mixed in a BOWL. No soggy bottom.
No way would I ever mix ingredients AFTER I put them into the pie shell....that's just idiotic. Also, ALL this is, is just magic cookie bars in pie form.
But definitely easier to mix in a bowl. Just a humble tip.
What sense does it make to try to mix this in the crust instead of in a bowl? Zero! It makes zero sense.
I know in a pecan pie recipe you’re supposed to use karo syrup. So I wonder if the sweetened cond milk is something like that. And I’ve made the same mistake by not waiting for the pie to cool so it can set. But who can wait when you want to taste it? Lol 😋
Pecan pie has eggs in it, so maybe this could have set better with one or two eggs and being properly mixed.
That pie is rich but looks yummy! 😋
That looks delicious!
This pie is known as "The Hillbilly Pie!"
Turn the measuring cup upside down not sideways to get ever out!!? Omg!
Justine does just fine. Apparently you're experienced baker, did you have to learn what to
do? Give these young ones time to learn, they are just fine.

Robin. Justine does have a "better than turkey" recipe. It involves Turkey Meatballs!😂😂😂
If you want frozen turkey meatballs or deli turkey from the market, yes she does.
Looks Delicious
Justine, that looks great. I bet the addition of an egg would help everything hold together a little more firmly.
That's what I was thinking.
2:20 This is a Family friendly channel, so we will avoid sharing those other names for this delightful desert. 🤣😂🤣😂
I've never seen this concoction before but looking at the result I made up my own name for it. Probably one of those you guys use.😵💫
Better than....😅
Vanilla ice cream melting on top for me please. Ooey gooey pie ala mode yum
What would u call this Justine?
A diabetics no no.
You lost me with the pretzels. Has anyone tried this yet? The desserts I'm seeing aren't edible. Way too much sugar.
And I know it Is delicious.

You obviously don't know how to cook!
