I have been a RN for almost 20 yrs. You listen to the patient reporting symptoms but that does not believe their word regarding history. You also find numerous errors, lies, inaccurate histories and manipulations in doctor's reports. So all we can do is take in what is said/written while assessing the reality as it presents itself with mitigating factors. That a doctor did or dud not tell her NO doesn't really play much into what is being assessed in current treatment options.
Its very sad that there are so many people with body dysmorphia. The Kardashians are not role models! Theyre teaching our youth as well as their own children that LOOKS ARE ALL THAT MATTER!
In terms of changing the world…those people are on par with the the discovery of insulin and antibiotics….they’ve change our society, sadly for the worse

There is basically something really sad about women who are obsessed with body image to this extreme. Addictions of any kind will eventually leave you shattered.
Back in the day, big butts were not popular. I’m talking 80,s and 90’s . Skinny was popular. If you had a big butt you were looked at as fat . I was always slim with a big butt and I hated it. It’s amazing that a lot of people now want a big butt .
I loved Barbie as well. I never wanted to look like a Barbie doll. I never thought that Barbie was meant to look like a real person nor that real people should look like Barbies. I loved other dolls as well - porcelain dolls, baby dolls, little figurines. Yes, I thought some were prettier than others. But I never looked at any of them as a template for a real person.
Awesome that the friend really manifested that her friend don’t get the surgery, the doctors sitting her down having that talk was all she needed to hear. She may have actually saved her friend life.

You can't grow a new fat cells, if you removed them by liposuction, they're gone from that area. That's why you get fat in the places that were not liposucked - previously they were secondary places to store fat, now they're primary.
I will take my existence over this ..even on a horrific day like today! It reminds me what I have to be thankful for. God how sad to live like this, nothing but fake plastic existence. And stop blaming your parents and take some personal responsibility for gods sake. I can’t stand these types of cases! I would rather see them help people who honestly need help!
