Actually, Targaryen are not immune to fire. That moment with Daenerys was a special magic one. That being said, in the books Dany gets first degree burns for mounting Drogon only. They changed that in the GOT TV show.

Vermithor and Silverwing are among the largest dragons behind Vaghar, and the oldest. Aquiring both would teeter the scale to heavily favor the Blacks as either dragon could defeat or seriously injure Vaghar. You were correct when you said they had not mentioned Seasmoke and in part I believe it is because they do not know if he can be reclaimed since Leanor may or may not still be alive. Though in previous episodes they did mention how Seasmoke seemed upset recently. In scale, Seasmoke is about as big as Syrax (Rhaenyras dragon) which would also benefit their cause by quite a bit. In this current climate, the Blacks are severely underpowered just by the fact that Vaghar can overpower any dragon they currently have.
Rhaenyra desperately needs help. She got an adult dragon, but Baela and Jaecarys got juvenile dragons. If Aemond attacked Dragonstone right now, he would win. Rhaenyra would be executed or die on dragon back.
parrot dragons head through the streets. The greens are trying to show strength but actually seen as an omen because the interpretation of all these dragons is that they are of God that these Targaryen are above normal men. The black dragons can fall, then soak in one of the greens.
Dany only escaped being burnt that one time in season 1. Anything after that is a show only thing because she gets burnt later on in Mereen in the books
apparently they say if you pay attention to all the clues since GoT that maybe its pure blooded Targaryens that might be fire proof, but mixed blood ones are not. I've also heard book readers claim that it might be a difference between dragon fire and regular fire as well. Nothing may be immune to dragon fire.
@@nobodyexceptme7794 So Daenerys with her 3% Targaryen blood is pure blooded? Make it make sense. Book logic: Dany is not immune. The ONE time was a magical ritual that granted her temporary immunity. Show logic: Dany is immune because.
I'm a book reader and she's right, the book Blood and Fire, unlike the GOT books (ASOIAF), is all hearsay and conjecture so any differences don't generally bother me too much so long as it isn't in the broad strokes that it differs
The man with the wife and sick child who asked the King for money to make the Crown's weapons, is not the same guy who claimed to his drinking buddies that he was a Targaryen, Daemon and Viscerys's half brother. Two different men. Jacerys only named Vermithor and Silverwing as dragons who are big enough and capable of taking on Vaghar. However, I do think it's likely that if they plan to find riders for those two dragons, they will likely also find riders for the other unclaimed dragons on Dragonstone, including Seasmoke. I don't know if Daenerys could have ridden all three dragons or not because she only ever rode Drogon, so I think she only claimed him. However, she was bonded to all of her dragons since she "birthed" them
Targs can only ride one dragon but there are certain case where they might have bonds with multiple (like Dany) however, still only one can be ridden at a time.
Daemon being at Harrenhal is pissing me off. Like, they don't even need Vermithor and Silverwing, just Caraxes and Meleys would be enough to deal with Vhagar. And seriously, did they spike his food or something? He kept being F up for 3 episodes straight.
@@michaelyohanes2782 Yeah no shit you strategist genius, I can visualize the map of Westeros and understand how important Harrenhal position is in time of war. Even that idiot Aegon knows that. But don't you think that Daemon could handle it better? Like, you clearly saw how disoriented Rhaenyra council was without him, and he didn't even bother to send a raven or answer them. The show writers clearly try to make him look weak.
Dany was a special case because she used blood magic while making sacrifices for each egg. Her son, khal drogo and the witch. Targeryans are heat resistant at best not but fire proof. It was only suppose to be a one time thing but the showrunners ran with that idea that she is fireproof.
THANKS for this, @Married2theReal #Married2theReal !!!!! I think #HouseoftheDragon #HotD is really on the way to being as good as #GameofThrones #GoT!!! I miss the complexity and multiple plotlines of the parent show but this is a great #prequel!!!
The original book series (A Song of Ice and Fire) was written different than Fire and Blood. Each chapter was written from a main character’s perspective. So while, yes, their personal experience colored their view of events, they were actually there living through them. That’s why the history and lore videos are, sometimes, multiple characters telling the same story but from their own personal/house perspective. Fire and Blood is exactly as Tasha said, a bunch of unreliable narrators. For HotD, book readers just need to stop. Period.
So i went down that worm hole of if they can claim/ride multiple dragons at once... there is nothing saying they could.. its never been tried/done.. daenerys is the closes.. being able to control 3 dragons but she only rode 1... but its still a possibility..
As a book fan i'm loving the way the show is telling the story, in the book your right its hear say, there are some definite things that happen, but the details are cloudy and not fully accurate, its leaves the book reader space to completely tinfoil hate everything!!!
The main issue the book fans have is that GRRM does keep to themes largely and yes it's a fantasy world but there are rules that are followed with rare exceptions and so many small plot points that serve as foreshadowing on multiple fronts in order to keep the intrigue and also the dialogue is more interesting because he's not afraid to make our "hero" characters a bit despicable to achieve their goals. SO much of that is missing in these adaptations. Ryan Condal and Sara Hess have a tendency in this series two 1) not even follow the hard facts and timeline of events 2) not even hide their disdain for characters and changing their actions seemingly just to spite fans of that character. It's frustrating, for me at least. I'm still enjoying myself enough to keep watching but I can't help but feel i would enjoy these adaptations more if they were more faithful--not 100% accurate, but faithful.
