@@amongthederps Sadly, Albert passed away. They don't have a very long life span, and he died of natural causes. I learned of this because I'm a patreon.
We are raising a sweet crossbeak Easter Egger named Fluffernutter. She is 6 weeks now and still truckin along.
Glad she's doing well! And that name- Campaign 2 of Critical Role? Just had to ask.
OMG we had a silkie named Fluffernutter
Araucana Mary Carl from cog Hill farms loves araucana she was looking for a rooster and hen she has awesome different types of chickens she says a lot of knowledge of them

You mean she's still cluckin along 😆
i just love seeing the kids help with the farm chores and playing with the flock. And I'm even more happy that Bubbles and his/her sibling got adopted by mama silkie
Thanks!

It's been awhile since I've watched and oh my goodness there's a baby bump! How far along is she? Glad that little chicken got to have a second chance at life!

A man of culture and love, well respected to u my brother
Right
Becky looks so Beautiful w her pregnant belly 🥰
Have they had a gender reveal yet? I hope for a girl that Becky can pass on her beautiful smile and even out ratio.
That girl you got Bubbles from is just so beautiful and has such a kind soul!
Oh my goodness! I lost my crossbeak, one eyed chicken this winter at just under a year old. Her name was Anne Bonny. Her eye was missing but had an open eye lid so she had to be treated for minor eye socket infections. She stopped being able to eat effectively as she grew and it became obvious that she also had a deformed skull. So I hand fed her for months. She would come when I called her and loved to perch on my shoulder. I buried her under a pomegranate tree. I hope Bubbles thrives. Good luck!
I have a cross beaked Americana hen who will be 4 June sixth. Izzy is too cross beaked to eat on her own and I have just adapted different feeding methods to accommodate her needs. What I have learned along the way is that if you can keep them fed and the skull itself doesn't become incompatible with life they are ok after a year of age with their special needs met
She should be employee of the month! Such care and compassion for a peep most would look over and ignore! Wonderful woman!
Thanks for saving the chicken :)
one thing I have heard from someone that had a cross beak chicken is it can help if you give them a deep source of food to plunge their beak into, the deepness of the food allows them to get food into their beak further back where the beak does touch since the tip is played apart.
Good tip!
That’s so sweet she took care of buttons and bubbles
Bless yall for taking bubbles!! That ending almost had me in tears....so happy mama took them in!!!💗
She may have a crossbeak and she may be missing an eye, but that chicken is seriously so cute😭
I have a cross beak hen named skeezer. She’s the sweetest! She so far hasn’t had to much trouble eating but just to be on the safe side at night I’ll check her crop to make sure it’s full. If not I’ll wet some chicken feed for her and hand feed her. She’s smaller than the rest of the flock but holds her own and does great. This video just melted my heart. Especially at the end seeing how the momma hen took right to Bubbles and Buttons. ❤️ Happy tears from a fellow pregnant lady!
That's so cute! That's awesome that she took in the chicks.😊🐣
🖐🏼 Hello.
You have quite a variety of birds now. Your family obviously enjoys all of the animals. I hope you have a happy and healthy baby. 😍🥰
i’ve been on a ‘White House on the Hill” channel binge for the past 3 days. I’ve already showed my roommate and 3 of my friends this channel. Your videos are so amazing! Informational, and full of positivity. It sincerely has made my days. Much appreciation from the east coast!
Oh my gosh just the sweetest to see them tucked in with the other chicks!
That mama is just such a sweetheart.
That’s beautiful I was about to cry your family is incredible.
It's ironic you got a chick from Tractor Supply. Morgan from Gold Shaw, was just taking them to task over their terrible new brooders. You guys and him are my favourite channels. Because you all care so much. Makes my heart happy.
Nothing is wrong with those brooders! It’s the radiant heater that is too high and not enough heat. GQF Makes The Same Ones With Heat Bulbs Built In. I Prefer The Heat Lamps in those brooders.
Absolutely love this inside look into your farm life ❤️ so happy you decided to take bubbles in 🐥please don't ever stop making your videos! 🤗
Thank you!
That's really nice of you to give that little one a mom, and a safe place to grow up! I hope bubbles thrives.
I hope so too
Something tells me Bubbles will have an exceptional life with lots of love💜
It’s so nice when ur sad and then u remember u have a pet that’s tiny and fluffy that u can hug 🤗
All of your animals are so adorable 🤩
Apart from the cow she is skinny
Thanks, Sierra!
@@abcd1234jason the cow isn't skinny, that's how cows look
Adolfo Chávez no it's not how they look, also why did the cow not get pregnant? Because it's not in a healthy condition
@@whitehouseonthehill I cut open an egg thinking it was dead but there's a chick in there still alive, do I seal it? Or see if it survives?
Awww. Everyone on the farm looks happy and content.
I have a sweet little black silkie crossbeak named Betty. So far, she's eating well enough on her own and taking no grief from her flockmates. I think she believes herself to be the largest one there.
Thank you very much for being a wonderful breeder of these beautiful animals
this is so sweet! i love how you gave him a second chance! love your videos, have a nice day!
I felt so happy when I saw that Bubbles and Buttons were accepted by their new mama.
Such a sweet story. Becky is amazing!!! She really does it all 👍
You guys are so good to the animals always :')
Baby Bubbles looks like she feels content with her new mom and siblings =)
Last year we were able to buy 3 acres across our driveway. The lot came up for sale last spring and we finally closed in August. Our goal was to buy it so we could start a small chicken (bird) farm. This spring we picked up our first chicks! We said we will get 6.... well we have 9 😊 I mean if you have 6 why not have 9😁. We have 1 that is 3 weeks old, 6 that are 1.5 weeks old and 2 that are 4 days old.
My husband will buy a chicken coop kit today. We are super excited to watch our chicks grow and start this new adventure. Can’t wait to go out everyday to take care of them and pick up eggs. I’m excited to share eggs with our neighbors too. I can’t wait to see what our girls end up looking like and the colors of eggs we get.
I’ve been watching your channel for (almost) a couple of years and just wanted to say thank you for the inspiration to do this. Also it’s been fun to watch your little family grow. The boys are getting so big!
Congratulations on your new members, I hope bubbles lives a long and happy life on your farm
That's awesome! Enjoy the property and the chickens!
Your kids are so precious. I'm forgetting the youngest's name, but I couldn't believe when he understood to spread his arms & heard the chickens out the door! 🤗🤓 That was amazing! But you know what, as I think about it he's always been that quiet, but very sensitive & observant little child. so sweet.
Glad to see she took in them 2 baby's.
Aww I love that the mama hen took in both chicks
Your gonna make a great future with all of those animals and bees!😀
Really beautiful. I envy you folks. It's hard work, but the quality of life you are providing your children, family, and your birds, bees and livestock is so cool.
Your channel is such a nice break from the pandemic EVERYTHING. Its nice that you don't talk about it. ❤
Glad you enjoy it!
you have beautiful birds. And the emus rock!
Thank you for taking the chicks in. I'm so glad she has accepted them and going to take care of the 2 chicks along with hers.
With all of Morgan Golds 🐥work to get Tractor Supply to change their ways on brooding ... I think that young lady needs a pat on the back for going above and beyond to get the best for that chick ! Bubbles will be so happy with you guys ! ❤️
Yes & yes!
FB no longer allows animal rehoming/selling ads, which makes it difficult for people to find homes for animals. (Some groups are still allowing animal ads but when they get discovered the entire group gets deleted, unfortunately).
This cute little chick seems to adapting well to her challenges and will probably cope fine with life without any extra care aside from keeping her beak trimmed if there is overgrowth. Hopefully the beak doesn’t deviate to badly as she grows. Some handicapped birds (animals) need support and daily TLC so require a home that’s truly devoted to their daily supportive care. Not everyone can provide that, so lots of people need to find new homes for them.
Thank you for taking her in. ❤️
Can you please turn on the automatic closed captions? I'm hard of hearing and the parts of the video without captions are really impossible for me. I'm sure you have other hearing impaired viewers who would benefit.
I have auditory processing disorder and I feel ya, I can hear that people are talking but I have NO idea what they are saying, might as well be speaking another language.
I didn't know it could affect chickens as well! That's really nice! Keep going!
You have some really stunning looking chickens - my goodness! 💜
Such a beautiful chick :) your an incredible family!
You have the prettiest birds I’ve ever seen.❤️👵🏻❤️
You have the most beautiful birds ever.
Aww go Wu! Good Momma taking in the new babies. Bubbles is adorable I hope he/she does well.
I have a chick I hatched out in February is a match to bubbles, he was born upside down from hen who lays big blue eggs. Blue bird of happiness we call him feed a lot of mash food and baby food for proteins strained meats and egg yolk has survived wonderfully and has quite a attitude now just started to crow. Lucky can see out of the one eye and cross beak too. He knows he is loved all they need quite a character. Do need special care safe environment or get pecked on helps to have buddy. LOL to bubbles and his new family so glad hen took her in.
treemu deserves more appreciation
Absolutely 😂
The guy over at A Chick Called Albert had a video with a cross beak that he was able to help as his beak grew. If you haven't seen it I definitely recommend checking it out! He's really amazing at helping special need birds
Your boys are getting so big. Growing like weeds😁
Very cool video. Prayers for the new chicks to do well, actually all your animals. God bless
Thanks so much
That's a good farmer and a a good mother hen ♥️
I just had mine hatch I'm so happy 😊
It’s so nice how you care for any of your animals❤️
Love all your birds. You take really good care of them.
I found myself smiling through the whole video
I once met a one eyed dog named Winkie.. always thought that was the cutest name ever.
The sounds of these animals would be much more enjoyable in the morning time rather than when its sleepy time
Aww, what a sweet ending.
I hope it all works out for them.
Thank you for taking Bubbles in.
Sweet story. I'm glad there are people like you.
This is so sweet, I love what you guys do, you help so many animals even if they attack you or try to get away ❤️
Thank you for your kindness toward these animals...GOD bless you and your Family❤
She made the right choice
Last year, we received a RIR without ANY eyes. I took her home. She lived for a few months before something happened to her and she died. I miss my little girl
Aww, that's sweet
This just melts my heart 😭❤️
So glad buttons and bubbles got adopted by the Silkie mama!
More important than whatever else I was watching XD

Great that you are taking in this chicken.
I really enjoyed your youngest interest in the chicken.
Becky is really looking good. This pregnancy looks like it is going well. I hope you too get the girl she wants but most importantly the infant born be healthy, girl or boy.
The farm looks good this spring.

So very sweet! It’s so amazing to see animals are so selfless! A mom’s instinct is to care for, no matter the species! That’s so amazing to see the mama hen caring for Bubbles and Buttons, makes my heart so full! 💞 yay mama!
Your littlest one is so observant. So cute how he’s always hanging out with Jake watching everything
I always admire you guys with all the beautiful rare and beautiful birds. I'm a chicken lover I also like other poultry but my patio is chickens I had to due to health give up all my birds . So I live through others like you guys .
I can't wait until I open up my youtube feed to see the completed aviary. You all are awesome!
Awe what a good momma.
god bless this chicken I hop it lives a long happy life pls don’t kill him
I can't imagine them doing that unless it would have a really bad life but this one doesn't seem to be going to have a bad quality of life
That Jersey is beautiful. Looks healthy and happy.
What? The skinny thing he's milking is looking sickly
@@abcd1234jason I disagree. She looks full of vibrant energy and not emaciated or neglected. Alert not alarmed. A good eye for effective animal husbandry you do not have sir.
brandon boulton lol and what is the reason she didn't get back in calf? She has a body score of 2 for breeding a cow it needs to be at least a 3 for successful conception, I was born raised and now I dairy farm in New Zealand on 90% grass fed system, also they want to buy another cow why? Because they have milked that cow for all she's worth!!! Dry her off and let her rest
Cant wait to watch them grow. So cute
You can trim the lower beck quite a bit to improve the overlap.
