The firefighters and inmate firefighters of Camp 16 on Mount Gleason, just outside of Los Angeles, face death when the Station Fire engulfs their base. Two firefighters never make it out.

Thank you Mason great job. Fire is one of my most terrifying natural disasters I ever want to go through. My house was right in the line of the fire. Thank God the wind changed. I was lucky not so many other people. I never want to go through that again. My hear goes out to the families of the two firefighters that were killed. 😢

Great video! Didn’t know you were into helicopters.. I was very lucky to work with a Vietnam war helicopter mechanic for like 5 years.. it was the most educational experience of my life!! I learned so much from someone who didn’t say a lot…. Nor did I actually know what a Vietnam helicopter mechanic was until a couple of years working with him… so I’m pretty lucky to be alive…. Thanks for your service buddy
