Hi Phil, thanks again for the update. The area there seems quite scenic, especially next to the reserved track. Great seeing the tram having a test run during your journey. Anyway, take care. Rob in Melbourne Australia.
I really hope the signalling is treating it more like a tram (visual) than heavy rail, the CBD light rail is terrible at signalling (green light for cars, red for light rail)
Not sure how I feel about the battery over wires situation, I've seen many light rails in Europe with wires and personally I think it's fine. If it was a huge cost saving sure, but the light rail per km cost is crazy in Australia as we over engineer (the battery technology is an example).
Yo Phill Why don’t you add a little detail to ur vlogs and say the title or do more sneak peeks not forcing you just giving you an advice 😅 hope it helped!
Hi happy Tuesday night and great video and I enjoy your channel
Amazing video phil at Parramatta light rail children's railway tram station

You've given me something to do in a few months when I'm in Sydney
Great Video - Scheduled/Shared.
Thanks Phil for your honesty on the various opening days on some of the major transport projects, l really like the green section of the line.
I do feel like there should be another stop between those two. maybe just before the green track.
no yellow lines on the edge of the platform. hopefully added very soon! am really worried they will not!
How does the parramatta light rail gets its power
Last I heard opening end of August but we'll see I guess 🤔
I was out and about today on this line.
It is looking very close to opening :)

What editing software do you use Phil? 😊
For the intro either stock edited footage or hired animators, for the main video IMovie for Apple
@@captainethan8932 Thanks mate!
@@traingeekfromNSW no worries
@captainethan8932 how did you know? Did Phil tell you?
@@jdouble-l19978 I can see the style of the texts and cut transitions I use to use iMovie myself
Also a pity they couldn't do more Greenway as it's much better
Parramatta LightRail has officially been named L4 Parramatta LightRail
Sweet!

@@sydneytrainsvlogs I shoudlve also mentioned that from next week it will be running 5am-1am as this will be the final part of testing

Oh I love those trams but parramatta is too far for me to go to
On board batteries, there are sections of track that is overhead wired.
@@hazzman08 ok
Speaking of technology, there's the new info screens and announcements tech upgrade for the bus network.
Ooo that’s very interesting you say that!
I was on a 438X yesterday and the bus had screens and announcements which i found very useful!
@@sydneytrainsvlogsSounds like the same as Northern Beaches B-Line
