We should thank Dylan that Stydia actually happened. Jeff didn't want Stiles to react positively to the kiss in 3A, but Dylan didn't think that would make sense. Then in 6A he improvised the kiss on the cheek, and actually set everything in motion
Dylan had a lot of input on Stiles and Malia too. Their love scene, the producers had a very different vision of what that scene should play like but Dylan said that's not how Stiles would behave and he would not be some kind of guy just out for sex but a caring guy and came up with Stiles holding Malia's hand. So he had a lot of good suggestions for his character; he had a very good sense of who Stiles was as a person.
Can we just all agree that Dylan O'Brien is not only a ridiculously perfect actor but also a brilliant actor who understands the depth of the character he's playing. Stiles would not have been the most loved character on TV if Dylan wasn't the one playing him. He just lived in it.
Lydia remembering Stiles should have been higher on the list. That scene always makes me cry, when she finally realises that she loves him, and has for a long time. It takes my breath away.

I'm not satisfied with the amount of kisses they get and screen-time that they being a couple. It's unfair that Scott and any of his girlfriends always have a lot of kiss scenes etc. Even Styles and Malia have a lot. Maybe the scriptwriters wanted to make all dynamic about friendship and platonic feelings and soulmates and I know that they have like one of the most healthiest relationship in TV-shows but I'm still don't satisfied.
u don't need to kiss to love..... stydia is one of the most realistic couples.... they show how important it is to develop friendship first, take time and let it grow. it gets intense and passionate more only then. Lust never qualifies as love. Stiles and Lydia show what true love actually is. They don't need to kiss to show the message.
And I think that's amazing how they didn't show us many kisses or love scenes or dates to the restaurant BUT we still saw and felt a strong connection between these two without the cliche scenes

I know they were both on periods of time they were hooking up and dating other people, I know Lydia ignored Stiles for years. But let's remember these people were teens. The development of relationships in your teen years is and should be like this. It took time, it took rough patches, it took Lydia something more to realize who is really there for her, and then it just blossomed into this strong, years-expected relationship. Damn it I love it so SO much, such a beautifully written couple.

I can appreciate what we got with these two and still be steaming that they literally gave them a kiss and 2 words and called it a day. The fact is the fans deserved a hell of a lot more than we got. We deserved a love scene or at least a discussion on their new feelings after they got together but for Jeff to keep them apart all of season 6a and only give the kiss as proof was downright meant as punishment. They should have ended the show an episode 9 of season 6 and then given us a happy couple for 6 x 10 and like someone said below if the last scene ended in them embracing in the hall, kissing and walking out hand and hand fans wouldn't have felt as robbed. I can appreciate what we got with these two and still be steaming that they literally gave them a kiss and 2 words and called it a day. The fact is the fans deserved a hell of a lot more than we got. We deserved a love scene or at least a discussion on their new feelings after they got together but for Jeff to keep them apart all of season 6a and only give the kiss as proof was downright meant as punishment. They should have ended the show an episode 9 of season 6 and then given us a happy couple for 6 x 10 and like someone said below if the last scene ended in them embracing in the hall, kissing and walking out hand and hand fans wouldn't have felt as robbed. Not me though because I will never watch another one of his shows knowing he was bitter about Stydia and purposely did us wrong over it. The only reason we got what we got was he wanted DVD sales.

I have to say Lydia and stiles during Allison’s death, her (and Scott) going into his mind to save him making her relive the prom she was bitten and saved by stiles ( fuck it A L L of Lydia and stiles during 3B) them being the duo in s5 with Scott’s speech about them being partners in crime, stiles taking Lydia to Jackson after being beaten by Gerard, Lydia being the person to drown stiles because of their connection had be some of the best lowkey moments between those two (not including moments in the video) Not to mention Lydia secretly flipping off Brunski after knowing he tried stiles like crap and “blue and orange”
