Just did a clean install and upgraded Skyrim to the latest version. Heads up to anyone in the same boat: a lot of these mods aren't updated for 1.6.1170 yet :)

I think there was a mistake in one of the new characteristics you pointed out about skyrim UI. There always was an indication about your carry weight limit in vanilla.
But not without entering inventory
Yeah, you mean in moreHUD? I used the wrong video clip. It's suppose to be a clip without opening the inventory. If you go to 3:02 and look at the bottom right, you'll see the carry weight which is not available in Vanilla Skyrim.

I am on Xbox and use Nordic UI with SkyHud and pastel map markers, and that's quite nice. If I had a PC, I'd definitely love the little widget that displays the date and day at the top corner of the screen!
Perfect choices! :D I wished that mods are universal so everyone can use them despite what platform they play on.. sadly that's not the case :(

I really want to use the beautiful shout meter that I've seen players use. It's beside the status bars on the Nordic UI (I believe) and it's a pretty Celtic-looking design instead of the plain diamond-shaped one I have. I can't find that one on Xbox though 😞
I haven't been into modding Skyrim for quite a while but I know about a mod nobody ever talks about for some reason that is called Pick Up Radius. I think it's a very cool little QOL mod that more people should use

Very polished and clearly presented.
I've been casually modding Skyrim for a few years now. Some of these mods somehow passed me by, but look perfect for me, like: Wheeler Mod, and Show Player in Menus, and Dear Diary Dark. 👍
Side question: Do you know if those custom icons "play well" with items added by mods? (In Fallout 4, I've tried similar things, but I end up with mod-added items still default to vanilla icon system, and it just looks like a mess. LoL.)
The custom icons “immersive icons” has a lot of mod added items support. In the mod page you can see a list of mods that immersive icon supports :)

Author of a couple of those icon mods here. Yes, lots of the mods that add new icons to SkyUI/Wheeler/etc. have a lot of support for mod-added items/spells. If you notice items left with default icons you can leave a comment on one of those mods as some of the authors (myself included) take requests.

4:20 showracemenu is a vanilla feature, but editing does rest your stats if not in tgm, not sure if the mod fixes this

I think you made the mistake of including AMOT in this video.
AMOT contains a broken plugin with HITME records. You can re-save it in the Creation Kit for a fix, but it’s not recommended to use.

Awesome sauce 👍 I can't remember the name of the people that created a mod. But, think its worth checking out? There's a mod, that changes the lesser holds to more fortified structures, Barracks and homes. This has an added bonus to the mod im describing. The regular holds have also been enhanced along with a main quest. I hope you find this mod, because I had a lot of fun with it, and it works well with other mods. This mod works on Ps4, xbox and PC. Btw liked these mods you showed thank you for the info. I'll be glad to share mods in the future that I had fun with for all Bethesda games. But, as with all mods? You might have to deactivate the mod before updating game. Just a helpful tip

Very good video but the nordic ui in your video didnt look what it should have looked like. The inventory didnt have the nordic ui applied for some reason, the icons the bars the compass even the elements didnt change for you for some reason.
Yeah… I only realized after someone pointed it out. Might be a bug
I wish I could get quick loot and compass navigation to work because they both crash my game when I install them and I can never make it past the loading screen

Excellent video, I've been trying to use Dark Diary and Untarnished UI for some time but some menus lithe the perks menu or the magic and inventory menu and the dialog interfaces are tiny and stretched, I've searched info online, but still can't find the solution, if anyone knows how to fix it, I gently ask you to help me out with that. Greetings!

I started modding Skyrim some days ago and replay it :) its amazing! Thanks - i gotta question: is there a reason why no HUD / UI Mod is working for me? I am using Nexus Plattform for integration. However Sky UI and HUD and several others wont activate, while the graphical mods work.

@@CaptPanda I'm having the exact same issues. I have graphical mods enabled and they seem to be working fine but no HUD mods or UI mods are working. Also i cannot seem to enter the MCM for some reason and no mods are displayed there. Im currently running all mod setups through nexus and vortex. I believe i have all of the necessary mods installed in order to run them. Any tips would be a huge help
Greetings brother. I'm attempting have 3/4 of the mods that are listed in the video- I was wondering if it was possible to know what was the load order for *ALL* the Mods in the video? I ask this after attempting for the first time- then my Skyrim didnt load properly so I ended up playing the same vanilla. I do have SE. I just am not familoar with load order and such when it comes to it. Thanks for your time & video.
*Added for clarification - I just saw my personal note while watching the video; @20:13 if I were to follow the list & order of the Mod Configuration that was listed on the video- is that the same order that would be when customizing ModOrder?
Hey!! Thank you so much for checking my video out. Regarding load order, if you are using MO2 follow the video’s order.
I showcased SkyUI first meaning first thing to install. Then, on to the next mod, etc.
Be sure to always always check the requirements and to download the right version for your game. (AE or SE)

There seems to be a mistake with the Nordic UI showcase, all the screens shown are for the regular SkyUI and no Nordic UI. Maybe you didn't install it correctly or recorded the wrong footage.
I also recommend you take a look at resizable Quick Loot EE, it dynamically resizes the Quick Loot windows according to the number of items displayed.
Hey! It was wrong footage 🤦♂️ I apologize. I recorded that part twice because at first I also noticed it and managed to fix it at the end. Apparently, I used the wrong one. I'll make sure this won't happen again.
I heard people were having problems with Quick Loot EE, though I know it has more features, I wanted to share something that will lessen the problems a new player will experience. Though, I prefer EE more (added info). I'll link Quick Loot EE as an alternative! Thanks for pointing out my mistakes!

Didn't know Quick Loot EE was problematic for some people, I personally have never had issues with it.

Yeah, unfortunately they haven't been updated for the newest skyrim update yet.
If you’re using the latest update, that’s gonna happen. You’ll have to wait for most mods to update. You’ll be lucky if the author is still active and willing to update

Hey, im looking for forums but theyre all old and out of date. Sky UI i believe is causing me to have zero hud and crosshair. does anyone know a fix or patch or even the proper load order? im struggling for the past 4 or 5 hours

@@CaptPanda its okay. Something was wrong with the dark fantasy ui stuff i think. Uninstalled that and it was fine
Quick Loot seems to cause my steam deck to completely freeze up. It won’t even eventually CTD it just freezes forcing me to turn off my steam deck.
Edit: 1 Oxygen Meter 2 doesn’t work either. The bar doesn’t appear at all even after watching an entire episode of one piece. A glitch in the mod seems to give me the water breathing enchant perk instead. Which I guess is kinda cool but I’d prefer the mod to actually work.
