I’m Scottish but was good mates with a lad from stoke when I was in the army. He introduced me to these the morning after a very heavy night in Hanley. Absolutely brilliant breakfast

As a young lad my family would go here every week to get a dozen oakcakes, usually for the Sunday breakfast, and indeed it was a replacement for bread. If there was any oatcakes left over, my dad would usually have them with Jam, cold the following day. I'll pop in next week on my travels and pick up a pack. Thanks for the video, glad you got the interview with them.
