- I am in Yellowstone National Park to spend 5 days photographing wildlife and the beautiful landscapes. The purpose of this two-week trip to America is to bring awareness to nature and the importance of taking better care of it. I am doing this through four lectures for the local schools and by sharing this series of videos.
I am here with Tim who is also a nature photographer.

✦ ABOUT THIS VIDEO
Yellowstone is the first national park in the world and for me it is a great experience to see how this is done and how nature thrives without the impact from humans.
Five days in such an enormous area is way too little, but since I had other obligations on this trip, I am so happy for these few days. It wasn't time enough to follow some of the species and really spend the time needed to get amazing footage, but it was definitely enough to give me an unforgettable experience.

My name is Morten Hilmer and I am a professional nature and wildlife photographer.
I am a Nikon Ambassador and I work as an ILCP photographer.
Nature conservation is very close to my heart.
I have served in the Danish military special unit, the Sirius Patrol, for two years and that has given me the skills and confidence to operate alone in the arctic regions.

Great vid once more. Particularly liked the clips at the end. Yellowstone is the place where one’s soul can just relax. Five days is a good start. Hopefully you’ll have a chance to return for a longer stay, Morten. Best time is just about anytime except summer (due to the number of visitors).
The 100-400 is my dream lens, it seems so productive for filming. Great series about Yellowstone NP, it’s a magical place :)

Just came home to this from photographing roe deer in my home forrest. Just amazing... Almost two years ago your videos motivated me to start doing wildlife photography, well actually just recently I got gear to do that, switched from canon to sony and now between my workdays at a hospital, I go into nature and take pictures and videos of wildlife, I found it is the best way to clear my mind from the "usual" world and it's problems. So grateful for your videos, you are amazing.

What can I say, great video, also for the feeling of being there with you to live the adventure !!! Super detailed and super sharp animals in photos and videos, very exciting the final sequences ... the bison seen from very close, with the breath coming out of the nose and the sleet that swirls around ... absolutely fantastic !!! this video is really very professional and real. you use lens very smiliar with our lens 650-1300mm lens also good for this wildlife photography.
It is amazing others travel the world for this place! I live 80 miles away from here, I visit often and each time it is a beautiful experience never taken for granted!

Great review or video of your time in Yellowstone N.P. 🇺🇸 Morten. Your photography and video 🎥 are very well done and beautiful. Yes, 4 days in Yellowstone is not enough. You have to visit often and at different times of the year. Just stay away from late May until after early September. Those times, the crowds are just too large. You were there at a great time. Winter in Yellowstone is a beautiful time of year. There is so much wildlife to capture, so much to see and appreciate. Thank you for sharing this well photographed and produced video of the world's 1st National Park, Yellowstone. 👌
