When you are painting a narrow area of wall (say between a front door and the little window next to it), do you brush the edges of the door frame and the window frame - then use a mini-roller for the middle?
It depends how big the area of wall is. If we can get a roller in there then we’ll use one. But if it’s narrow (up to two brushes widths give or take) then we’ll just brush it.

I'm wondering why you would try to compare a sashed brush to a square cut brush? can you give us your thoughts on a cheap sashed brush to an expensive sashed brush?
The result would be the same. It’s worth it to get a good brush. My current favorite is the Corona Cortez or the Monterey if you like the squared off variety.
Corona are great but expensive and not necessary to get a good finish. I have a few different Coronas for specific applications like door frames or cutting in two different colours on a wall with no taping. But A Nour "Traditional " brush is a solid all purpose brush that is about 10 bucks cheaper than Corona.
Meh, they’re decent. I still much prefer a Corona Cortez over the red frost, but the red frost was an acceptable brush. If I had to use it on a job I wouldn’t be too upset.
Especially if you take care of your brushes, the more expensive brush is a no brainer for general home painting. I really only use the cheap brushes for throwaway jobs like cutting/spreading epoxy.
my HD has wooster and other brushes in the nearly 25+ range. But I live in BC Canada and everything is a rip off now. I use the mid tier stuff from there quite a bit. the performance select gold brushes for 15 bones are pretty nice@@SuperVassarBrothers
We were testing the brushes the way the majority of folks would be using them. The blue we were painting over was from our “one coat coverage test” video. Spoiler alert, one coat coverage isn’t a real thing

Nice 80's background music.
I’m glad you enjoyed it. I try and mix it up 😃

How does that better HD brush compare to your favorite Corona 2.5"?

I get that you're just testing shitty brushes. But why no primer ? And why is that blue so shitty in the first place ?
