In your videos, you sometimes talk about things as if they're common knowledge, but for me, as someone who hasn't played AOE III in a long time a lot of these things are kind of new. In my opinion it might be worthwhile to cover more stuff than just the new, even if the logistician is kinda cool
Great guides, informative and still quick. I do have a tip/request, please include some text on screen if you are laying out some steps that follow up each other quickly. Makes it easier to follow!
Yeah otto's ff is really the suprior strategy, in 90% of MU's you should just tower ff, doubt that changed much in DE, considering it is based on a Fanpatch to a large degree. The whole rush thing really is more of a low level thing :) double rax jan rush is something you do in certain matchups, for example vs spanish ff.
I know that similar guides like these have been out before, but you are so calm, to the point and there's a certain level of respect and humility that stands out from you. I've watched every one of your videos and I have to say I will not miss the others

What I would really like to see is a guide like this either of your favorite civ/strat and/or a civ/strat that is solid for beginners. Kinda like Fast Castle knights for AoE 2, or chariot rush for AoE.

Am i the only one who noticed that chinesse are bugged (or its a meme) in the way that they can have houses rickshaw's (cards) that increase the ammount of houses you can have and when you have all the normal houses and start using these rickshaw cards they add and create one more house but for literally no use since they dont add more poppulation ? I mean in the vanilla AOE3 this used to increase the cap of poppulation allowing you have bigger armies....

in team games i suggest switching out the church card with the advanced arsenel, as games usually last slightly longer,giving u an opportunity to up some very good abus and jani techs

wait, if you were pr 46, what was your account name? and why did you name the spanish as an agressive civilisation? they USED to be agressive when the game came out, but when the rodelero siege nerf came in they turned into an ff only civ and that hasnt changed much. with the new age up politician that MIGHT change but as of right now, they are still an ff civ so a defensive one.
On the original AOE3 my nick was Darkalbino_ Spanish have an aggressive FF, with the ability to have many shipments, they can ship 3 settlers + 700 coin + 8 pike + 700 wood and still have a shipment once reaching fortress. They are aggressive in this context because they can take out your outpost without you being able to respond in time.

I feel like training jans in transition and shipping either 2 falcs if u have enough jans to protect them or 8 jans and then 2 falcs is more viable(with veteran upgrade otw). I don't see why you would ship spahis first. I even ship 1000 wood as my third card if there's a nice stagecoach on the map. Spahis only if he has a lot of skirms and I feel like I can easily catch them. But I guess spahis can be useful in some situations like when I played russia vs otto and this guy went ff and shipped those spahis which ate my musk strelet alive and won him the game.
Normally between 6-8 hours. When I started it took me a lot longer because I was unfamiliar with the editing process, but as I've picked it up quickly.
Abus gun is op because it negates all ranged and melee resistances becayse it hits with siege damage. Because of that abus can hit artilleries which have %75 ranged resistance.

Hey Drongo, Or anyone who can explain this to me :P Whats the Difference with the age IV Spahi cards? 1 costs 800Food and gives you 4 spahi and can be used infinite times; The green one you are using "Team Spahi" Only seems to give 4 spahi and costs 1200 food whilst only being able to use once. There is also a card that gives 6 Spahi for the same amount of food (1200). Should I still opt for the green over the other age 4 spahi card, does it give any stats that I do not know about? Or perhaps its a missmake?
(800f) 4 Spahi - Infinite shipment - This can be sent over and over again, but has less initial impact than the (1200f) 6 Spahi shipment. (1200f) Team 4 Spahi, while it costs the same as (1200f) 6 Spahi shipment, you could potentially look at up to 16 Spahi for a single team in a 4v4 game, granting you much higher bang for your buck.
I have been Otto Player for long, Captain Level 26+ . Otto is worst civ to play with. It needs serious buff to balance playing with other civs. 1. All units rely on Food and Gold. The only CIV which trains only one unit Which is Jans at Barracks. 2. For a balanced military composition you need to build two buildsing eg, racks/artillery , racks /stable 3. Slow unit training time, Albus sucks with less range. By the time you have 10 albus , opponent can create 25-30 cross bow. 4. Pathetic shipments in age 2 easily gets countered by crossbow pike. 5. Non Tp Map guarentee lose to any CIV 6. Cannot defend raids , This is biggest drawback. Suppose goon raid only unit to counter is albus which are slow. Literally skirm/Goon composition can never be countered by Otto. Jans pretty much useless in Age3. Falcs are waste , they are very slow. easily countered by goon. 7. Not good at raiding easily will be fend off with musk.
ask for subs, you deserve them this is essentially spirit of the law but for aoe 3, while i personally prefer aoe 2 for pvp, there is no doubt that this content deserves a Provider and audience, actually the only aoe 3 yt dude i enjoy watching, subbed
