Exactly what i was thinking as well. But you would have to partially set the Jello before putting it in the cake because the moisture would completely ruin the fondant. But if you let the Jello set about 80% i think it would totally work... That or agar agar.
Yo works out! Her job gives her serious upper body strength. Cakes are heavy and flipping them takes muscle. So maybe not so huge, because all that burns calories.
Anyone else find it painful how she just makes everything look so seamless and effortless but when I try to make a box cake, it flops. Literally, flops into itself.
She doesn't use box cake. Box cake usually needs adjustments for cutting and carving as it's not dense enough. Find a good Madeira recipe and practice with that, I think Yolanda has some go to recipes as well.

sanapotter okay. So a while ago, Yolanda caked a giant McDonald’s apple pie. If you know anything about fondant, fondant should never touch any liquid. However, apples contain quite a bit of liquid, so while Yolanda was constructing the cake, the fondant was melting and creating white liquid and that really “traumatized” Yolanda If you still don’t get it you can just search up McDonald’s apple pie cake and you’ll see why 😊
When my family moved to Australia it was 'winter'. The day after we arrived, my dad took us to the local beach. I was surprised that there were only a few people & that they were wearing heavy sweaters. Coming from Canada, we were perfectly comfortable in our jeans & t-shirts & actually couldn't resist taking the plunge fully clothed. We often went swimming that winter as it just seemed like a bad Canadian summer. After living through a summer though, we didn't even think about swimming in the ocean, lol.

I remember when i used to watch her channel 24/7 when i was in 6th grade bcs i was hella into baking, now im a junior. She’s made a wedding cake for a family member, her sons birthday cakes and the banoffee cake was for a family dinner iirc. I think sometimes the HTCI team shares them. I think I remember Orhan saying he took some home)

If the jello wasn't completely firmed up the water in the jello will react with the fondant
