@lovekiyo2352 I read Once Upon a Broken Heart first and I honestly didn’t really like it so I didn’t continue the series. Maybe I was just busy at the time but I had a hard time following it and staying interested. Then I read the Caraval series and it was interesting enough that I finished it, but it’s not one of my favorite series. 😅

Hey im new to reading books, should i read Caraval series or OUABH series first lol?! Ive heard mixed reviews on these 2 series!! & i have a budget on buying books 🙏🏼
@@stinkiebearr Hey there! I love the books. They are my favorite series of all time. You don’t have to read one or the other to understand either series. Garber wrote them that way.
I read Once Upon A Broken Heart first because I was more interested in that series and I had no idea of the connection. After I read the second book, Ballad of Never After, I immediately went and got Caraval’s trilogy.
Jacks (main male character in Broken Heart) shows up in Legendary (second book of Caraval). His backstory and the reason why he is the way he is is in Legendary and Finale. There’s a very important girl mentioned in the Broken Heart trilogy that you will not have a background unless you have read the Caraval trilogy.
So, short answer: no. You can read them both individually. Long answer: you might want to read so you can have an understanding of Jacks and the girl that’s mentioned.
Broken Heart is my very favorite series as well as Caraval. I do recommend reading both because it just enhances the reading experiences! I hope you enjoy them!

@StorySounds Honestly, it's just silly fanfiction where I created my own character that goes through different book worlds😂 Like a time traveller but with books😂 She's just started out her journey along with a death angel she accidentally pulled out of a world I created myself😅 So most of the characters and stuff are not my own but since it's just private fanfiction, it's fine😂
