Definitely in this rut right now. Just comforting to hear others in the same position. Appreciate this video. You have a soothing voice too, hope that isn't strange to say!

I am currently thinking of doing free lance for filming, whether it is for weddings, music videos, short films, etc. I agree with both sides of full-time and free lance, but you exaggerated with the whole "just to make ends meet" part in free lance. You doing at least one project a week can have you make way more than a regular 9-5 job and if not close to it, and that is in just one week. Yes, I agree with that you have to hustle and grind for more work after that project and if not, even in between one as well. If you are good at your craft, you can mostly definitely make a good living with at least 2-3 projects a month. If you manage your money the right way, you can make a hell of a living. Overall great video.

Hard decisions. I suppose it depends where are you in life. Right now, freelance would be ideal for me but sadly I don't have any creative skill set or experience.

Thanks for the input! Been debating on what to do, because the regular 9-5 job has the least amount of satisfaction. Maybe freelance for fun and put those funds towards a savings or for retirement.

That hustle n grind u refer to can be applied to all freelancers......bottom line is u will suffer if u choose to do it alone. If u had a team, problem solved!

Meaning if i work freelance there is no assurance that how it will be last long because you don't have contract and on the spot you will be fire or replace is that it?

Do we get to decide when is our time schedule on a freelance job? But just finish it to deadline.

which lens is recommended for youtuber ? I have a 35 100 F2.8 lens ,and i'm wondering between 25 F1.4 leica and 12-35 , hope you give me some suggestion .^-^

+Tech Nutrition The 12-35 is a great run and gun lens and covers most things you'd need. But f2.8 is much slower than the 25 f1.4 and you'll have a harder time getting that shallow depth of field look (if that's what you're going for). The 25 f1.4 would be great if you know you wont need to zoom and have different focal lengths in one lens.
