Our culture and spirituality was stripped on ship. We were left on lands to follow not by choice, our owners religion of Christianity. Magic are just like tapping deeper into the knowledge of the earth and nature (which was created by god), spirituality, etc. of course there are some people who abuses this power and use it for evil intentions, and there are some who actually work with the "bad" side (satanism, perhaps) but we shouldn't get this sh*t mixed. people who practice magic aren't always bad and can't always be deemed evil. it's almost unbelievable, but we DO live side by side with many kinds of things, dimensions, powers, unseen things or forces or entities, that aren't always evil. and this practices are also act as an identity to certain cultures, so it's best to keep the traditions alive. they were once a savior to certain group of people too and we can't just discard them like it's nothing, because they're more than just something, and meant even more than that.
