Canberra ACT is Australia's capital city.
Canberra Centre is a large shopping centre located in the northern section of the Canberra City Centre, ACT, being the second largest centre in the ACT, behind Westfield Belconnen. It opened on 6 March 1963 as the Monaro Mall, becoming the first in Australia to contain three floors and be fully enclosed, though would later expand to cover a substantial outdoor component on Garema Place. It was designated an Australian Capital Historic Site in 1997. It has 216 stores.
Canberra Centre is the ultimate destination for fashion and lifestyle shopping. Providing a mix of premier shopping and first class entertainment, it has gained recognition as the definitive destination for locals and visitors who enjoy the outstanding choice of quality retailers.
Canberra Casino was the first legal casino to open in the Australian Capital Territory, built on land excised from Glebe Park under a 99-year lease agreement between the casino licensee and the territory government. It is small in comparison with other casinos in Australia and does not incorporate any hotel accommodation, theatres, auditoriums or retail stores. It is the only casino in Australia not licensed to operate poker machines. There are 39 gaming tables where blackjack, roulette, baccarat and other games are played. The casino also has a poker lounge and sports lounge with TAB facilities.

Hi, it's great to have you here. Australia is good to visit all year round, it will depend on your travel style. If you like beaches, swimming, surfing, summer is a good time. Winter here is not too bad, mostly sunny with temp around 10 - 19 degrees, you can try go skiing in the Snowy Mountain if you want. Spring is beautiful with many festivals.

Hi Alisster, I went early morning about 6.30 - 7am during Easter holiday so it was quiet and peaceful. During the day it will be more crowded with many shops & restaurants around.
