Now when he said that he should not say this out loud, what actually happens is that you have guiding thoughts that determine how your character feels at that moment, it is a background story for that moment that helps you, as an actor, feel the moment. It is virtually whatever works for you. Sad emotions, sad memories, funny emotions some jokes etc. The fact that he has chosen to feel at that moment as if in some commercial is hilarious on its own. Saying it out loud is hysterical.
