¿Cuál debe ser nuestra actitud hacia la Naturaleza? Bhagavan nos lo recuerda, para que podamos desarrollar la humildad y la reverencia necesarias para beneficiarnos verdaderamente de la Naturaleza.
El hombre nace en este mundo pero no se da cuenta del propósito de su nacimiento. Olvidándolo, se considera a sí mismo el amo de la Naturaleza y en su loca vanidad olvida su propia divinidad. Es incapaz de reconocer que es la Naturaleza la que provee o quita, la que bendice o castiga, que el dominio de la Naturaleza es extenso. La Naturaleza preside todos los aspectos de la vida. En su profunda participación en las preocupaciones mundanas, el hombre tiende a olvidar su divinidad y lo que le debe a la Naturaleza. Todas las cosas en la creación son iguales a los ojos de Dios. Dios es inmanente en todas ellas. Por lo tanto, Dios y la Naturaleza no deben considerarse entidades distintas. Están inseparablemente interrelacionados como el objeto y su imagen. Sin embargo, el hombre, al mirar a la Naturaleza externamente, la considera como puramente física y destinada a proporcionar las comodidades que busca. La Naturaleza es la mejor maestra para el hombre. Cada objeto, cada individuo, ofrece lecciones de diversos tipos al hombre en todo momento. Esta verdad fue reconocida por los Bharatiyas desde los tiempos más remotos. Esta es la característica principal de la sagrada cultura Bharatiya.

What should our attitude towards Nature be? Bhagawan reminds us, so that we may develop the necessary humility and reverence to truly benefit from Nature.
Man is born in this world but does not realise the purpose of his birth. Forgetting this purpose, he regards himself as the master of Nature and in his insane conceit forgets his own divinity. He is unable to recognise that it is Nature that provides or takes away, that blesses or punishes, that Nature's sway is extensive. Nature presides over every aspect of life. In his deep involvement with mundane concerns man tends to forget his divinity and what he owes to Nature. All things in creation are equal in the eyes of God. God is immanent in all of them. Hence God and Nature should not be regarded as distinct entities. They are inseparably interrelated like the object and its image. Man, however, looking at Nature externally, considers it as purely physical and intended to provide the amenities he seeks. Nature is the best teacher for man. Every object, every individual, is offering lessons of various kinds to man every moment. This truth was recognised by Bharatiyas from the earliest times. This is the primary characteristic of the sacred Bharatiya culture.
